Plot twist, Sam Lake is not actually Sam Lake, but Sami Järvi. He is not acting to be himself but character what you can see in some events and shows. I mean, there is Finnish actor Ville Haapasalo (who is more famous in Russia than in Finland, he been actor in many Russian movies)(he's name would be in English something like Wilhelm Aspenforest). He originally became famous literally in one night. It was shock for him, and to other actors of their first movie, which won prices without any expectations for such. Almost zero budged movie. Anyway. He was not prepared for media attention, etc. He locked himself to his apartment for months. Until he created idea that there would be fictive person who share same name as he really is - Ville Haapasalo, and that as a actor, he will play that character in public places. And to remind himself, who is real Ville Haapasalo, and who is character, he gave hat to character. You will see him always hat on his head. That hat reminds him, that he is working now, and he must behave nicely (no use swear words, etc) and play the role. Once he is at home, he takes the hat and be actual himself. The character Ville Haapasalo base on real Haapasalo, but is not exactly real person. (PS. The janitor, Martti Suosalo... he would be in English something like Martin Marshforest or so... And yes, lot of Finnish family names are landscapes. Weirdhill, Nicehill, Stream, Upperhill, Lowerhill, Middlehouse, Hillhouse,... Other common family name category is adjectives (answer for "what kind of?"), Liketree, Likelake, Likestream, Likemiddleone, Likerussian, Likeswedish, Likefinnish, Likegerman,...)

@@datguyuno98 Sounds like you are new in this. You have world to discover! -- (BTW. the film which made Ville Haapasalo famous is by English name "Peculiarities of the National Hunt". At least one of actors abandoned his career as actor after that movie, since it was so big shock to become famous in one night. And the director of the movie is angry to the actors who "ruined" his movie - he didn't intend to make award winning movie, but instead "underground movie".)

11:30 yeah he was, sort of. Like you said, it's under a different name (the character is called "Martin Hatch") and was played by Lance Reddick instead of David Harewood (although apparently Reddick was approached first for the part of Door but had to turn it down because of other commitments), but the general implication is that they are meant to be the same character.

The guy finding the cave is actually in Quantum Break. You should try it out, even with the cheesy TV episodes. It was a bold try at something new and cost them buckets of money, but it wasn't all that bad.

Welonz' Finnish pronunciation is getting pretty good. Fun fact: lumi in Finnish means snow, and in Latin it relates to light. The noise pattern on old TVs is described as snow in many languages, and it's light. Either way, it works.

I've seen some speculation around the internet that the second DLC might actually have agent Estevez as playable character since she mentions going there earlier and barely getting out alive, and it makes a lot of sense to me because there doesn't really seem to be an organic way to set any kind of expansion story to somewhere in the middle or after the end of the main game's story

Elisabet… (Sobeck) I believe this is a nice Easter egg for Horizon Zero Dawn, and they’re saying that she’s another variant of Jesse or the redheaded woman. This works nicely because Horizon shares an actor with Quantum Break, but with the legal reasons as other real world reasons it’s different.

Pretty sure it's to use an alternate name for Beth Wilder in Quantum Break and dodging copyright issue like with Martin Hatch or Jack Joyce, and not a reference to Horizon. Most of those namse we can have for the red headed woman/the agent are variation of it, since Beth is already an Elisabet nickname to begin with : Lisa, Elisa, Elisabet, Liz, Savage (=wilder/wild), Jesbet (jesse + beth) Maybe the specific spelling for Elisabet is one though, since it has a lot of different ones

The shape on the end of the PRS is a pentagonal trapezohedron, which is like some of the die used in tabletop RPGs. They were everywhere on the ground just before entering the text part of the game. Would have been cool if one of the realities let you dive and go into slo-mo while shooting, 😂

Spoilers below for anyone who wants to know what happens if you focus on the Red headed woman instead of Door. \/ You basically live an entire life with "Jesse" and fall in love. After many years of happiness you both begin having the same re-occurring dream until she eventually asks about the true nature of the universe and after having forgotten for many years you tell her of the multi-verse until one day she leaves with Ati to seek out her fortune in the cosmos. You begin to re-call your purpose. You had forgotten what you were searching for... lost your way. there was a man. Door, the Master of many Worlds. * At this point in the story, it loops back to you finding Alan in his writing room. P.S. I am interested since I never got to play Quantum Break. The DLC definitely has me intrigued.
