It's really cooly to hear you breaking down the workout and approach with the sets. Been working out solo and try to limit workouts to 60 minutes as a principle, so nice to hear this mental approach to laying out a session - especially as I'm aiming to incorporate more crossfit style in my next training blocks.

@fra5er any pointers I am doing split jerks and I feel like and the coach that watches me in the CrossFit class. Told me I am leaning forward when I am catching the bar over head. How do I stop that? Would squeezing my stomach when I catch over head help the problem? Also when I do the ski machine the next day I feel it in my lats is that pretty normal? Lastly any pointers on jump rope single unders I am starting out I am having trouble with it. Plz help me.

Cyclists mostly look at watts/kg. Obviously there are outliers everywhere but wattage and watts/kg are used for tracking power across a ride.

Traditional Cycling would pay more attention to rpm than wattage. But since we compete on air bikes and use cals instead of distance, it makes more sense to pay attention to wattage to measure pacing.
@andynix7630
@andynix7630 2 жыл бұрын
Power is the metric of choice for cycling. Since the air bike uses a fixed gear ratio, the rpms and wattage are interchangeable. Relative wattage can be calculated by dividing gear ratio (gear inches) by cadence. Bigger gear and/or higher cadence equals more power.

It's worth doing. Before I became super busy with my business, I loved taking 2 hours plus to train. Now I don't have the capacity to, so hwpo 60 makes sense for me. You can still scale up the workouts for yourself if you find them too easy.

Watts per pound if you want to be specific for bike output. So you’d be average going at 500 watts for 20 minutes if you were 180. Most full time bikers wouldn’t be able to follow a workout like that and still deliver s. So you might as well call yourself above average.
