I've been considering this since the vxr grip kind of annoyed me when I bought it.. I dont like how high it forces my hand up. It's starting to grow on me so we'll see, great vid

Agreed! And I noticed my thumb was pressing against that extra upper shelf the engage grip has on the quiver side of the bow. I’ve seen other videos where people have just sawed that section off and it improved the grip. I love this side plates and grip tape shooting off the riser. Thanks for the feedback! The big grip that comes with the v3 is terrible, and so is the fact that these side plates cost 50$. Been shooting bare riser since I got my bow, but occasionally my finger gets a little high up and catches fletching. So unfortunately had to get these since they have that knuckle guard thing

I just got a v3 31 about a month ago, and I’m switching to the side plates as well. The grip tape you put on the back of the grip part, where did you get that? Thank you

Hey Patrick! Great choices all the way around. It’s anti-slip 1” tape I ordered on Amazon and then trimmed down to fit. Replaced it periodically as the traction wore down. Just ordered and getting ready to try the Bowmar Grip tape that was just released this month. Be Blessed. -Matt (Nebraska Crew)

Weird question but how thick are these compared to the engage grip? Would it change length at all to notice it? Thanks

It removes the grip. You will be shooting off of the riser so technically it would slightly decrease your draw length. The side plates add some form, complete the shelf, and add cosmetic more than anything. I freakin love this set up!
