I’ve shot the Revolt, it’s hard to believe the Matthews has a better draw, but I trust the review. Great comparison.

Angel Custodio hey man, Haxen is not being cool right now. The VXR 31.5 has a 344 IBO and is a longer bow which gives more forgiveness and a 6 inch brace height which gives it more speed. He compared it to the Revolt which is a 335 IBO, shorted ata now which gives it less forgiveness and 6 1/2 inch brace height which makes it slower then the Matthews. He also choose not to shoot the revolt in comfort which is its slower setting. If he compared it to the RevoltX which is a 33 ata, 340 IBO and a 61/4 inch brace height in performance it would be basically the same bow. If you blind folded someone and had them shoot both bows you would not be able to tell the difference and speed would be extremely comparable.

Todd Lymburner dude I agree. I shot them side by side and in performance setting the bowtechs draw cycle felt the same but in comfort the revolt was butter

I remember he did a Revolt vs VXR28 and it was a lot closer. The fact that they were both sold out at their shop for so long means they're both top notch bows. Todd I remember we spoke about my bow decision on a previous HH video, since than I tried the Revolt and fell in love, I cant find a lefty VXR in NYC, but the Revolt was so good I really don't care. I'm going with the Revolt and keeping in in comfort. I'd rather have the feel than the little bit of fps.

To me No way that VXR has a better cycle than the Revolt, I've shot a few and are like pulling a truck out of the mud with no valley compared to the Revolt. Just my opinion, I've sold all my Mathews bows. Mathews just don't get the concept of easy to work on, needs mods for everything, pain to adjust, have to have a press to adjust cams. No thanks,

I bought a vxr 31.5 and hated it. The draw cycle is to harsh. It really hurt my shoulder which is somewhat messed up. Then traded it for the revolt x. So much smoother and I also feel more accurate with it. I've never been a fan of bowtech either. Now I have a Reckoning and Revolt X

Shot the vxr 31.5, revolt, and axius ultra back to back. Definitely a major plus shooting Mathews this year. Your videos were a factor in my choice and I ended up blowing my cash on a vxr 31.5 build. The defiant has been my favorite! Even better than the new Redwrx IMO but the new VXR is something like you’ve never shot before haha

The VXR is in a class of its own. I love my 28. I know you’re a Hoyt guy but you should consider the 31.5 if you’re thinking about upgrading.

Personal opinion is that so, not arguable. What is, is already wanting one of the bows before you shot them. The same ping sound came out of both bows so, that’s void. Didn’t comment when one made it but did when the other did. I felt from the get go that this wasn’t going to be unbiased. For the record, both companies are producing great products.

Vxr sucks. Buddy has one I have a revolt and his is just uncomfortable as hell
