@@Leah_music Wow. I’m so sorry I never replied back. lol. It was for a children’s theatre in Boca Raton. Miss Trunchbull was definitely one of my favorite characters to play. Lots of fun and the kids were fantastic.

I have seen a female trunchbull before, but it also is sort of a point, that the actor is supposed to not be a a conventionally pretty female, and, like Edna in Hairspray, it’s played by a man, so it’s not trying to insult a women, it’s sort of being “look at this women, who looks like an ugly man”.

Can some one tell me is this make up elaborate due to being stage make up and Pam ferris who plays trunchball in the movie never went through all this with make up and hair just three prosthetics and a few vains added

Yes it is because it is stage makeup. They need to exaggerate everything so the crowd in the back of the room can see them
