One of the most wholesome and Godly moments I've ever witnessed in music... Was Matisyahu performing at the Jewish family Festival in mountain View California, when he was performing his young boy came on stage and embraced his Father, and instead of sending his son away to perform, he held his boy. There's nothing more important to a boy than his fathers love. Will always support Matisyahu after witnessing that moment.

This song reminds me that deep down inside me somewhere is pure love. Though we can never comprehend divinity with our human minds, we all have a hope inside, something that says disregard all the stress, never mind all the anger we feel towards people who piss us off, somewhere inside each of us is that love for something that we cant prove exists. It's a man worshiping God with his music. "Sing to my God songs of love and healing" "Thunder! You feel it in your chest! You put my mind at ease and my fears to rest" This man is worshiping. He's having a religious experience as he comes close to the presence of God. Proselytizing, pouring out his faith to the room, hopefully illuminating the hearts of those in the room. The Bible is the biggest history book it’s actually multiple books in one. Just like how you read many history books and scriptures is how the Bible should be approached. But I’m humbled by your thoughts and I’ll respect them. Keep listing to the word of god and someday you’ll take these lyrics into your heart and soul as it’s meant to be. One thing I will say is don’t jump to conclusions about someone before even hearing why one believes in the one true god. Everyone’s got a storybook take sometime to hear it and you just maybe humbled as well. You want god but can’t deflate your ego

My dad randomly bought the Live from Stubbs CD from Borders Books back in the 2000s. He is Peruvian, but he always loved listening to music from other cultures and was intrigued to hear Jewish Reggae. As we listened in the car, I was immediately hooked. Such a pleasure to randomly come across this video in 2024. Love the guitar solo. Brings back great memories.
