Middle of the field throws are the best from anyone in the class, however the deep balls are a problem.

It's safe to say this kid just needs an opportunity to go to the next level. He's got raw talent but like many others have said he just needs to get a good coach/mentor to work with him. Take a chance Columbus did.

Looks like a solid NFL backup to me. Isn't asked to make many NFL caliber throws, and when he does he's not terribly accurate to the boundaries and vertically. Does his best work on RPO's, he's nailed the timing on those slants. Other than that, middling athleticism, reminds me of Baker in that category. Nothing too explosive but can get a few yards if needed.

Dunno if you trolling or not but this was a bad comment.. Baker Mayfield??? 😂😂😂
@jevinjohnson49612 жыл бұрын
@@Hahokay I said he compares *athletically to Mayfield, as a player I'd be very surprised if he became the caliber of QB that Mayfield is currently, which isn't saying much. He has good backup potential.
@zacharytrull61072 жыл бұрын
He’s way more athletic than baker, he has quicker feet and hips and can make people miss unlike baker. He just needs a good coach on the next level. Plus he always plays with a chip on his shoulder and has progressed every year in college so what’s to say he can’t do that in the nfl
@TheWokeSportsFan2 жыл бұрын
Great review of him. I agree. I don't see the hype on him. Small build, athleticism won't transfer to thr nfl bc he looks like a 4.7 or 4.8 guy. He thinks he is a better runner than he is,, and that coupled with him not sliding will lead to him possibly always being hurt like he was this past year. He is tough but the nfl will break him. All he does is run RPOs. Arm is slightly above average but not anything special. He is below Willis, Howell, Pickett, and Ridder easily for me.

I agree his missed some throws in this game. His arm isnt bad but i would say he has a cannon by nay means. He takes unnecessary hits. He also needs to hold onto the ball better. I see a backup QB maybe bridge QB at best. My bets comp for him is Mariota but i think Mariota is better and look at Mariota's career.

I'm not sold on him at all. A ton of Talent around him at Miss. If you put him on Liberty or Nevada this kid is a mid to late round pick at best. But playing with great players in the top conference and he's all of a sudden the QB1...? I don't buy it
@MrRyan-wu4jx2 жыл бұрын
Dumb logic, people said the same thing about Burrow. If you put Corrall on Liberty he’d be playing crap teams 90% of the year. He’s facing multiple future pros almost every game. Malik Willis sure as hell wasn’t doing that, and the one good team Liberty did play was Ole Miss and Corrall put Willis to shame in that game.
@brainrotbob12 жыл бұрын
I agree this is terrible logic. He has a moderate amount of talent around him, but he’s also going against the top defenses in the SEC, something Willis and Pickett have not had to do for full seasons. Anyone with success in the SEC is automatically more nfl ready than any non-SEC player. My team isn’t in the SEC just to avoid bias claims.
