About Robin Williams, he launched into comedy because the energy, the fun, was leaving the room, and for someone who's depressed, that's close to death, immmediately everything sux, you have no will to live, it's just one major drag. So you go nuts and basically do anything, and he had the great gift of comedy, improvisation, the man was outright brilliant, on Einsteins level, but with comedy. But he HAS to do it as soon as any moment dies off. Check ANY interview he has, as soon as there is just a sliver of silence, even in a serious conversation, you see his face, you see it's not happy, and he launches off into the comedic stratosphere, just to pick himself up, and he happens to take people with him. It's a constant case of putting tiny tiny bandages on that giant gaping wound.

I think Matt is one of the nicest people I've ever seen in show business. I don't know--- Matt Damon vs Jimmy Stewart? That's a tough one! ... One of my favorite videos of him outside of a role was at a teacher's conference outdoors with his Mom. He just exuded integrity, as he always does, especially when this super uninformed person from REASON MAG tried to rile him up with a question, and he just would have none of it. He says here he's only a good boxer in films, but had this gone on much further, somebody might have gotten punched. Not really of course because he's super nice guy Matt Damon. But he stood up for teachers, he stood up for his Mom, and when the cameraman started throwing shit about "teachers who are unqualified", Matt says well how do you know, I mean you could be a shitty cameraman, so...." ... And the qualities he shows here--- Always game for anything. Jimmy Kimmel could probably talk Matt into doing anything for a gag-- he's so humorous, and loves funny shit the way we all do, and cares not one bit to mock his own talents if it's helping the gag. I think we can all agree that besides his matthew mcconaughey imitations, which are hilarious, his best to date is his song with Sarah Silverman "I'm fucking Matt Damon". A superb human being and a great actor too!
