While it is positive to hear that Keoghan is still really excited to continue exploring Joker in Reeves' The Batman universe, it is not going to hurt the franchise if he doesn't get to be the central antagonist in a future sequel. There are a lot of Batman villains who have yet to even get remotely half the spotlight that Joker has had in various Batman movies and TV shows throughout the decade.

Why every batman gilm there should be a joker... Why?? Why?? I am feeling frustrated after seeing one joker after another after another..... Use other villians man.... There is a huge rouges gallery.... Use newer villians like court of owls, dr bloom, failsafe or old unused villians like Professor pyg, Dollmaker, Clayface, Toyman, Hush, Deathstroke.....why the hell always same 2-3 villians are used in every batman franchise 😤😤

Comics that involve Anarky most focus on political and philosophical themes. He attacks capitalism too. KGBEAST is a Supervillain and a Russian Assassin, he has been a member of the suicide squad. He has abilities like enhanced strength, speed, stamina, senses, agility, durability, also a expert in many things but he will definitely challenge Batman physically. I doubt he will have enhanced strength in Matt Reeves universe but still think he will make a great villain.

Honestly, even if the Joker wasn't an over-exposed character, I feel like what they did with him doesn't really work. The idea of a character who became evil because he was alienated for being a diseased freak is... how can I put this? A little insensitive, perhaps? Or at least, a little reductionist. Besides, they did that story with real subtlety and nuance with the Penguin's club foot. Keoghan's casting seems clever, as he has a great face, so why bury it in monster makeup? And honestly, his performance just kinda sounded like he was doing Heath Ledger, but more. The whole thing seemed obvious and lazy, which is the opposite of the rest of the film. I mean, the damage is done, this is the Joker of this universe. So personally, I'd just prefer to see less of him. Though this is all just one man's opinion, of course. No disrespect to anyone who got a kick out of the character.

half of those villains arent going to be in the movies guaranteed because Matt Reeves wants to keep it grounded. Obviously Penguin is guarenteed, I think Hush or Court of Owls will be in the second film, with Joker being a side character and in the third movie Joker will be the main villain with Riddler or something.
