Days like that are some of the happiest days of my life. It's almost therapeutic with the nice weather, amazing sounds and manual transmission. My family thinks I'm just an immature manic that wants to race, but I truly just enjoy whipping through canyons like this. I drive exactly like Matt - right to the limit but not an inch further. I'm shopping for a C5 right now and I can't freaking wait. One of these days I'm taking the trip out to this road in my C5.

@guitargodjoe36219 жыл бұрын
I've never heard a Corvette sound like that! It's sonorously glorious! It's the epitome exhaust note...a rich and full burble, with the right amount of what I call a throaty "Monza"-style snarl, if that makes any sense. And while some presenters' style of driving can almost make you car sick just by their video footage, the driving in this video was quite smooth and easy to watch. Good job, Matt. You lucky SOB.

I feel like a concave wheels in the back would have looked splendid. I see lots of cars with wheels that are flat in the front and then have a concave design in the back. Nonetheless, they look really great.

I was always under the impression that forged metal is stronger than cast, although casting allows for more intricate details and alternative alloys that normally do not forge well
@justinbustin6779 жыл бұрын
Me to
@DonWhite959 жыл бұрын
Forged in terms of engine blocks, pistons, cranks, etc is better for sure. When you're talking wheels though, forged can get real expensive (just look at some of the styles especially matt's). Cast wheels done right will be lighter, and as long as you're not aiming for mid west pot holes I'd say they're probably the strongest wheels for the price and weight.
@Booka31419 жыл бұрын
It is. Alignment of the grain vs scattered in castings, this can also allow for the use of less metal with comparative strength and hence a lighter part
