Matt literally always had the personality to be a cool celeb but unfortunately he could never get under the right spotlight. Which is a total shame, the man was born to be an entertainer and a musician and yet he still is underappreciated to this day

@@miguelmontoya What do you mean? I would argue the music got better after Matt Sharp left. Both Mikey and Scott did and are doing great jobs, and unlike Matt, both are actually likable, Matt is just a guy with a big ego.

@@Windos-i7h Matt sharp debut album + the rentals debut has more Weezer original dna than any of the Beverly Hills-esque business stuff. Far more consistent musically speaking.. Matt has being taking care of his own exploration with more artistic influence, he earned the freedom from Rivers control..
