You are correct, the series ends with the cell saga. Despite being struck down by toei before they had the chance to finish the abridged series, they have made a few clips of the buu saga which you may want to check out after you finish.

I seem to remember that the reason TFS didn't do Buu Saga was because they really didn't like Buu Saga and had trouble writing for it in a way that they felt satisfied with, and that they felt that Cell Saga was the perfect end to DBZ (and by extension DBZA). I remember there being a whole video they put out explaining that after waiting such a long time after they finished Cell Saga cause I was looking forward to seeing Buu Saga being abridged.

That is not true. Toriyama just felt like he couldn't write Gohan as the protagonist in a convincing way, so he made the decision to remove him from the main role.

Krillin wasn't brought back by Mr. Popo's voice because Shenlong can't grant the same wish twice, and he's revived Krillin once already. In the original, it was also slightly harder because his body (well, the dust that was left of it?) was on Old Namek, which was gone, so if they'd wished him back he would have revived in space and died again; they had to use an extra wish to bring him to Earth, _then_ revive him. Chiaotzu and Master Roshi have also been revived once by Shenlong already.

"Shenlong can't grant the same wish twice", what are you on about, yes he can, he just can't bring back to life someone that's already been brought back by him that was stated in the original show word for word. That's why they had to use Porunga to get Krilin and Chiaotzu back, Porunga can bring the same person back to life as many time as needed, but he can only bring back 1 person per wish, while shenron can bring back millions with just one wish.

In my opinion, I think Frieza's "five minutes" estimate was completely wrong like this Freeza's same estimate. I think Team Four Star was setting up the Mr. Popo/Shenron thing for when they got to do GT Abridged, you know when the Dragon Balls went crazy. I have absolutely no proof, just my own theory. Super Kami Guru is my favorite villain in DBZ Abridged season two, hands down. I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but I do a great impression of Super Kami Guru. Goku legit thought about eating Freeza's leg. Remember, it's not cannibalism if you're from a different species. We really need that Muffin Button in real life. The disrespect thrown at Yamcha continues. The guy just can't catch a break. He needs this crap like he needs a hole in his chest. NAPPA'S ALIVE! AND HE'S NOW THE MOST EVIL DBZ ABRIDGED CHARACTER EVER: A HOLLYWOOD PRODUCER!! (SCREAMING)!!! Next is the Dead Zone Abridged and then the Garlic Jr. Saga!

All voice in abridge were made by the abridge team, including screams. 21:51 Earth dragon Ball can only revive people once, this was the second time Krilling died, that's also why Goku thought he really had lost his best friend, he didn't knew Namekian dragon Ball can resurect someone an unlimited amaunt of times. 27:20 it was actually on the show XD. 31:33 Saiyans can not breath in space. 33:30 Yes, she was dating Yamcha in the original series, ad it was mention like 5 times before this on the abridge series. 34:31 His dad is the founder of the bigest company in the world, they are the richest family in the world.

Krillian doesnt come back because the earths dragonballs cant bring back the same person twice. Krillian already died once in og DragonBall and so cannot be resurrected by them

No they wished on the earth dragon ball to bring people everyone back, hence why they were able to bring back more than one and how the name Kian dragon was brought back because the earth wish brought guru back as well. The sender used the last of the 3 wishes they had to wish everyone but frieza and goku to earth.

Guru is connected to all his kids, just like all Namekians. This Subconscious connection is what was keeping Guru alive, so when Frieza's men were killing Namekians they were killing part of Guru and accelerating his death. Bringing the kids back brought Guru back... shortly. This is also why Guru died after Nail and Piccolo fused...

4:00 Funny that you should mention that. Kaiou-ken is actually just as bad. Kaiou is just Japanese for King Kai ("ou" literally meaning "king" or "ruler"), and -ken is basically just a suffix you stick on the end of an attack name, to denote that it is an attack name. It's basically the most generic name for an attack or power-up one could have. It just sounds cooler in English because it's a different language. Meanwhile, the opposite is true of Super Saiyan in Japanese - they still call it by the English "Super Saiyan" (or rather, Super Saiya-jin). So to them, that probably sounds cooler for the same reason Kaiou-ken would sound cooler to us. :P 22:00 Krillin did not come back because the wish was made on Earth's dragon balls, which have the limitation of not being able to do the same thing twice. Krillin was wished back to life back in the original Dragon Ball series (after one of King Piccolo's minions killed him), so much like Chiao-tzu, he cannot be wished back again by Earth's dragon balls. The Namekian ones, on the other hand, do not have that same limitation (though in exchange, they can only bring back one person per wish, unlike Earth's being able to bring back a ton at once). 27:18 You are far from the first reactor I've seen to ask that, and it amazes me still that so many people forgot that scene. Yes, it is in the original show. I always thought it was hilariously awesome, and remembered it vividly, but I guess it just kinda faded out of most people's memory.

Answering all of Mattables' questions week 14 (Happy Birthday): 1. Going alright. 2. Abridged voicer's scream. MasakoX is really really good and talented. 3. Yes the name isn't exactly creative but in all fairness Kaioken is based off King Kai's name not the most creative either. 4. Super Saiyan is arguably the most iconic transformation ever. Everyone who's a fan of when it aired on TV rants about how cool it was when Super Saiyan debuted. 5. Goku just mispronounced vacuum. 6. "What's that?" "Oh, that's just Bulma." 7. The show is no longer about the dragonballs, maybe in Dragonball. They're now more or less just a plot device. 8. Nail is fused with Piccolo. 9. Yes, you have to speak Namekian to the Namekian dragon. 10. Dende is putting everyone but Goku/Frieza on Earth. 11. No Goku does not deflect the energy ball into that specific planet in the actual show. 12. For this version Dende just decided not to bring Krillen back. For the original version that's just a plot hole from what I remember. 13. Goku attempts to leave early, yes. 14. They just looped the original animation. 15. Part 3 isn't that Goku centri in terms of Goku being on screen. Half at best. 16. Yes, Goku attempted to spare Frieza and leave - again. 17. Saiyans can not breathe in space. 18. She wasn't actually dating Yamcha by this point. 19. Well the Saiyans are alive now. 20. It's Namek 21. I'm not going to spoil that one. But the reason for keeping Nail is that they want to keep the show at least somewhat serious and ghost Napa was getting to be a cheap joke. 22. Yes that's actually what happened. Goku just said Bugs Bunny... no. 23. There is very tragically only the Buu Bits for the Buu saga. But I'm still glad to have something and we never know maybe they'll actually do a season 4 sometime.

The reason krillin is still dead is because they used the earth dragon balls to revive everyone who died. Since they already brought him back with the earth dragon balls before he didn't come back They used the Namekian dragon balls later to revive them because it was shorter than a year.

界王拳 / Kaioken is a technique that multiplies your power, created by King Kai and taught to Goku, along with the Spirit Bomb, while Goku was dead between his fights with Raditz and Nappa. It's not actually a transformation. It basically just means god fist.

it draws on the physical matter of the body to convert it into bonus energy, but slowly breaks the body down to do so. As you improve the efficiency of the technique it becomes less risky to use but over-use can still kill or cripple you if you do too much, too fast as it's still breaking down your muscles and bones for extra power. The spirit bomb works via a similar principle but it draws energy externally by breaking down the fundamental energy of all things. However as doing so is incredibly dangerous (it can literally erase things from existence and create a spirit bomb so powerful it could obliterate whole solar systems), King Kai made Goku promise to only draw on ambient or freely given energy to minimize the risks of the technique.
