Creating my own products has been the biggest challenge for me and I’ve tried it several times over the years. The paid ad spend was never there. I have manufactures scam me and others ask for $50K+ upfront to manufacture and buy starting inventory. I think for my niche it’s extremely difficult especially now that one of the niches are dominated by a monopoly in the industry and MAPs make it difficult to do any type of wholesaling. I think it’s a lot harder to figure out - which is why many of us went to content. I used to be in ecom when I started up and it’s brutal. There isn’t good guidance on it either compared to the system you would teach in the affiliate lab. Courses are tough too. I can’t see anyone spending more than $25-$50 for a course in this niche. The equipment is high ticket but from what I’ve seen the audience isn’t willing to pay that much for the course.

TBH Chris... I wouldn't look at this as a pivot. I've done paid ads forever, its just on the menu now. Similiarly, I do video, and that will be on the menu soon. Diggity "Marketing" is a digital marketing brand, that has deserved expansion for quite some time.
