Great video. I was doing most of what you described in the video, but the tip for aligning my shoulders with the target line was gold! This reduced my fade and gave me more length. 12/14 fairways hit yesterday! Thank you Matt!

Love the instruction vidoes, they have helped a lot. Looking forward to getting out to the range or course to implement some things I have learned recently and seeing the benefit in my game. Already gone from regularly hitting in the low 130s to a personal best of 108 recently, just by implementing the tips I see you and others give.

I've never heard tip 2 explained in that way. Now I have had one of those epiphany moments and the reason for my slice makes so much more sense. I've tried strengthening my grip and all the other pieces of advice that you get on KZbin but I think that this was actually the underlying problem and the only piece of advice I needed. Can't wait to get to the range again now and see the difference. Thanks

The ah ha moment for me was the back of your hand has to be pointing towards the ground when you finish your swing, it was from a rick shiels video. It's just awesome when you figure it out, even if you don't do it perfectly it's nice when you know you're at least doing it right.

Matt thank you! Your explanation of the shoulders I have never heard before, if you saw a big bright light from the US that was the light bulb over my head turning on seriously just put everything into perspective!

Eureka! I’ve always sliced my drives more often than not but have been particularly bad the last few months and I’d lost a lot of confidence. It had never occurred to me that my shoulders open up when setting up but of course they do! Pulling my right shoulder back a tad today got me hitting drives much straighter AND longer because of it. I must have gained 40 yards on those drives. Thanks Matt!

Just got back from the range. Your 2nd to about aligning the shoulders is something I think I'm doing wrong. Will find out by this weekend when I go to the range again.

Love the tip on the shoulder alignment! Think this is something I’m doing. Everything else seems pretty good but then a bit of a fade/slice is the shot more often than not! Great tips though mate! Cheers! 👍🏻🏌🏻

Any tips on lowering the ball flight seems like a huge problem for me it goes much higher than it should and in any wind this really affects the distance, I tee the ball up lower than it should be as well because I can’t manage to hit it off a high tee

Smacking one down the middle off the tee is always good. Tip #2 is very important for me - my set up was very poor before. Keep the vlogs coming Matt - you've earned you 150k subscribers Cheers

I have taken lessons and played golf for over 50 years (61 yo)...and I just recently discovered that my left wrist was cupped at the top of my backswing. I've fought a slice my whole life. I started bowing my wrist (a la DJ), and it's completely changed my ball flight. I'm actually hitting baby draws occasionally now, but most shots are now straight as a string.

Matt reminds me so much of the guy from Lock stock and 2 smoking barrels who rob the old people. I can hear him going "fucking southern fairies" great video, it's funny how different everyone is but the basics are just that. You, rick, Peter and many others have your own tweaks but the message is always the same. Quality stuff

You always make things simple some sites on here they talk too much technical rubbish which goes straight over your head .

Love the content watch all the lesson vids. Problem I’m having is moving the ball so far to the front of my stance is catching the ball thin, even trying to change the low point of the swing isn’t helping cause I always want to turn my hands over at a more central position in my stance. Wtf is the answer 😂😂😂

Tee it high and let it fly. If you're thinning it, you may be swaying forwards on the downswing, or you may just not have it teed high enough up.

Hitting up on your driver is great if your looking for a high hooking bomb and don’t care about losing it in the bhundu left :) this is a “what you feel isn’t real thing” surely ! once the club head gets pass your hands before impact it’s all going village for definite…..like the content Matt :)
