What ever happened to treating people the way you would like to be treated. Somethings about this speech are so true but eliminating people from your lives because they're doing shit to you they might not even know they're doing isn't right. Yeah they might piss me off and bring me down but I know they have they're own problems and that's why they are the way they are. Support them no matter what because that's what we all need right? 29 is still very young! For someone at your age, these feelings can fuel your motivation to make a change. There's still plenty of time to figure it out. Spend your time wisely and don't be afraid to fail during this time of exploration. In many ways, that's part of the process of elimination. Not to mention we learn our lessons the best from failures because if you don't give up, you can always correct your mistakes and overcome the challenge. I wish you all the best!

Same here I'm 25 and studied Computer Science because I didn't know what to do. My mum always told me "become an art and history teacher" (because I'm very talented and interested in it since I was a kid) but I studied sth I was very bad at. My computer skills were like 0 also in mathematics. But I continued and did it. It was kinda a proof for me that if you are willing to do something others said that you are not capable of because your grades were bad at schools in these subjects, you can do it. But I'm not lucky with my degree. Because I don't know where to work what to do. I worked at the university as a Scientist assistant in the office of my professor. He wanted me being a part of the team so badly. The money was good. I kept doing this. But I was not happy. I quit. I never felt more happier in my life the day I quit the work. But the uncertainty of what to do right now is just killing me. I have no idea. I have so many interests....

Determine to be wealthy not Rich. Wealthy is measured in time you are free when u stop work, rich is not. Read Rich Dad Poor Dad...think in terms of roles (fixed income vs unlimited income)...choose unlimited (either a business owner or investor). I chose investing...anyone can...start with the pyramind of investment risk (low risk..savings...mid risk income & growth investments..high rush speculative investing)...implement all in % that suit you per category. I personally focus on speculative (trading the markets...investing money to make more money)...I don't work a day and make more than I ever did as a highly paid employee. Replace 1 income with 2 effectively. That or actually find a local job which pays as much as the job u want to leave. Remember to factor in ur traveling eg salary for travel time x4hrs xFuelCost each day...u will be surprised if u eliminate travel u can afford a lower paying job local to u. Life is simple. It owes you nothing. You define your success, You must own yourself and be yourself Keep going and growing. Show up and make it work..

I needed this. I have been on a fence on decisions , life and my dreams. After this. I am packing up this part of my book and chasing my dream. A whole new chapter..... I am taking my organization and going to Alabama and open the thrift store, then my stables and then my children's home. I want to help abandoned and special needs children can have a safe place to live. I will listen to this everyday.

Guilt and regret kills many man before their time. I understand how you feel. I am a veteran myself. I had friends die after I ets"d out. That was 12 years ago and the guilt eats at me every day. I should have been there. I've been angry with myself for a long time. I feel I've been punishing myself all these years. I hope you find your peace. I know i haven't yet.

Not to mention his acting, he is gifted with the most prolific voice, which tells you that this person might be telling the truth. What a gifted person. This is highlighted in his movie ""Free State of Jones".

Day five. My fiancé (3 1/2 years together) left me because of my ethical and political views. This video has been with me since that time. It has allowed me a viewpoint that freed me from the usual emotional quagmire. Instead of feeling defeated and betrayed I feel free from the distress of that relationship. I post this here because you do not know me and it is less likely I will have to justify myself. This vide helped. I didn't need it but I feel blessed I have it. I will stop posting here soon. These words will drift to the bottom of the comments. They will none the less remain like me.

One of your greatest blessings was the loss of your fiancé.

Wasn’t about politics. It was about your appearance, your purchasing power, or both. She left for a better option (and was likely discarded subsequently).

I've had so many people blameshift instead of accepting and owning their own mistakes and inadequacies. "Turn the page, get off the ride.....you ARE the Author of your future"! That is wise words.

Just one sentence to put it in a nutshell: Take your life in your own hands and stop thinking that other people or the external world is responsible for your life in any way..sounds pretty simple, but really hard to live in this way..

When you have depressions for most of your life then you get off medication then smoke weed and realize that this is what you were thinking for the past times you smoked and Matthew McConaughey summed it up all in all words

I am 53 years old I was told all my life growing up by actions of adults telling me I was never wanted I was no good I will never amount anything bounced from house to house to house to house in foster care and then I ran away and was an abusive relationship marriage, and then I found my feet and that’s when I started my journey change is possible and this kind of motivation is what I needed to hear so for those who think they aren’t worth it you are❤

Me too. I had some high school friends I use to see every once in a while but then I stopped seeing them in my late 20s. I was glad I could use my time for something else. And didn't miss them at all. I guess they were never my friends in the first place.
