Never truer words. I spent my life in law enforcement of very difficult areas and twice had to live with the consequences of my actions. I buried my mother last week after looking after her for 6 years. I did it because I promised my father before he died that’s what I’d do. It wasn’t easy and there were a lot of sacrifices but I can look myself in that mirror.

Make all the voluntary obligations with yourself. Have the best intentions to do well but sometimes life just throws you a curve ball. My dad passed away 13 years ago and on my dad's death bed. I promised him I would help take care of his girls meaning my mom and sister. This past November I found out about my mom's cancer that came back and there was nothing they could do. I put everything aside, and spent the last month with my mom before she passed away. My heart just aching 💔
