Don't know if my comment will ever be noticed but ... this song describes the gift God gave a mother. When she feels she's failing, that little boy or girl is looking at her adoringly, with absolute trust & love, thinking he/she has the perfect mom. I have one son. I always felt that he was a great soul ... not because of our parenting (though it helped) but because he was just exceptionally good. Maybe I'm biased. His name is Christopher and if anyone fits the meaning of the name (Christ bearer), it's him. He was perfectly made ... handsome, sweet, polite, intelligent, loving ... and a sense of humor like no one else! At the end of 2016, when he was in the second grade, symptoms started to appear that in, and of themselves, were not terrifying ... the first was blurry vision. My husband and I wear contacts or glasses so we just thought the apple didn't fall far from the tree. But soon his hearing was affected too. Long story, still long, but more to the point ... we found out he has ALD, a neurological disorder that he was born with. If newborn screening was available when he was born, it could have been stopped. He was given 6 months, to 3 years to live. We just passed 6 years since diagnosis. God decides. Not doctors. Our son is a warrior and he was made for more. So if you took the time to read this ... please offer a prayer for Christopher Gray in CT. Thank you.

My baby is 7 months old. I've been home with her since the day she was born. Everyone says she looks just like me. I received some difficult family-related news this week. Everything compiled on ne at once and I screamed obscenities. Not directre at anyone, but I was facing my daughter. I bawled for hours after because of that. I found this song soon after and completely lost it. As the song ended she babbled "mama." Almost as if to say it's okay momma. Thank you for this.
