This is who my grandmother was; I am so glad that this footage exist! I hate that she isn't portrayed in the manor of how she was....NO FOOLISHNESS! She was far from lukewarm...far from being "politically correct" and "fearless" when it came to proclaiming the gospel. Mattie Moss Clark introduced me to Christ! I came to live with her when I graduated from high school. That season changed my life and in that period the voice of the Lord revealed my purpose. #TheClarkSisters #TheClarkSistersMovie #MattieMossClark
Watching her strive for righteusness privately and devoting herself to serving people inspired me to follow her footsteps. I am her oldest grand and I praise God for allowing me to share the few years I had with her.
I took care of my grandmother when she began to take ill. My grandmother held on to her faith as her health declined. After she had her leg amputated from BLOOD CLOTS (poor circulation) she yet travelled and trained choirs.
There was a fire that burned in her. I miss her terribly.
I am so thankful for minister David Futch, he really honored my grandmother. I am so thankful to him and his family. Minister Futch went on to be with the Lord just a few years following this interview.
