There is a track forwards and backwards button just to the right of the pause sign that will automatically track each way for you. Great job

Making me want to switch back! Pretty cool. Love the angle and background on the A-Roll.

Thanks for this tutorial. I am having an issue with the Surface Tracker not recognizing the transparency of my .png file. I confirmed the transparency is there, but the graphic outside my logo appears black over the tracked object. Any suggestion for what I'm doing wrong here?

When I press on mesh I don't get any points in my box , not sure if its a bug as i have followed several tutorials and its the same on all.

Thanks for this, but why is it when I have my clip zoomed in and panning with keyframes, the tracker seems to be thrown completely out... It tracks out of time by floating in front or behind in a parallax 3D way?
@MattQuattro2 жыл бұрын
It's tough for me to say without seeing the project, but I would suggest doing the tracking first before adding zoom and pans to the clip. Hopefully that helps you get some better results!

@@MattQuattro Thanks. This program has some unusual quirks and lots of bugs in 18.01 still.
@MattQuattro2 жыл бұрын
@@ArcanePath360 Agreed. Even though I find it more stable than Premiere Pro, I've definitely encountered a lot more strange bugs which can be very annoying!
@ArcanePath3602 жыл бұрын
@@MattQuattro I quickly found a better way of working round it.... Firstly, I turn off auto save, because often it will save the bugs which it caused which somehow CTRL+Z won't undo, and then your project is knackered. Secondly, I turn on backups every 20 minutes so if it does crash, I haven't lost too much work, or if I find something got messed up, I can open a history and go back to an earlier time, which I have more than once so far, and I've only had the software a week.

what do u do if a hand pass over?
@MattQuattro23 күн бұрын
That's a little out of the scope of this tutorial but you would need to mask the hand out either using Resolve or another compositing application such as Adobe After Effects. Resolve has some pretty good magic mask features these days!

is it in free version also?
@MattQuattro2 жыл бұрын
That’s a great question. I believe the Surface Tracker is in the free version (correct me if I’m wrong), but the Patch Replacement Tool is a Studio exclusive.

@@MattQuattro ah I see. I haven`t yet installed new version, waiting for stable release
