I think that is jumping to conclusions. As a man, I personally don't intervene if I see a situation like that because I don't want to get accused of something, then possibly have two people against me. Same thing if I'm at the gym. If a woman is struggling with some weights or something, I stay out of it. I don't want to get called a creep, or get into drama.

Myself and some buddies were walking down a downtown street when 3 girls came to us and said that some guy was stalking them (none of us knew them). The car they mentioned went by a couple of times. We asked them where they were going and they said home. We became a "security detail" and escorted them home safely which was a 3 mile walk out of our way. We didn't mind, any one of those girls could've been a sister or cousin and we were glad to see them get home safely. One of the fathers came out of the house and asked us what we were doing. The girls immediately spoke up and told him what happened ... then we were seen as the "good guys" - lol. We were glad to help make sure someone's daughter got home safely.

I worked at a place where we left the job at 9 pm. Of course we had females working until 9. There were a few meth addicts who hung around the area. So a couple of us guys always stayed behind to wait with the girls until their rides came. I always felt better afterwards knowing the girls were going to be safe
