The last woman is extremely brave. You clearly see how very scared and retraumatized she was, she clearly experienced it herself as a victim and yet she chose to stand up and help. Wow, just wow!

Same. Not even my neighbours or in-law family said or did anything when my ex would talk to me and my son like that in front of them. One of his first cousins figured she wanted my husband so she let him know and they were cheating on me for years. Their mothers are sisters and are ok with them and their relationship, for real. Needless to say I ended the marriage when I learned of the cheating and have cut the ex and his whole sick and twisted family out of my life.

No one ever stood up for me when I was verbally or physically abused- there were times that his friends were present. I had already been taken away from my family and alienated from my friends. Thank goodness that part of my life is over. It makes me relieved to see that things have changed for women today!!! BTW, I've stood up for young women being abused by their boyfriend/husband a few times in public, even with my PTSD!

@Nurul Liyana its true and I don’t want to call myself a full on feminist but i stand against inequality with women and i am educated on this topic a little bit but yes a lot of women do things and they never get thrown in jail or anything because they think only women can get abused. The same with objectifying women if a women does it it’s not wrong but if a man does it it’s wrong. Also feminism means “The equality between men and women” if you want equality then also give equality. This does not apply to all Feminists.

Thank you for doing this video!!! I know this is 3 years old but it popped up on my phone and I just have to say those people are heros!!! I went through emotional abuse for 14 years before I woke up and realized I didn't deserve it!! It made me depressed you basically think your no good!! You believe what the abuser says about you!! After a while it makes you have no laughter no emotions except scared and sad all the time!! When I finally divorced my husband and got away from him I became strong!! I never knew I had that kind of strength in me and when I met a guy the next year it took me a long time to believe him when he would call me beautiful because I was always put down by my husband!!! Please if a woman reads this know that you don't deserve this kind of abuse!!! Even if you think it's just words and he's not physically abusing you. It's not ok!!! It will destroy you inside!! It's not worth it!!! I wish I had left sooner than I did!! Be brave!! All guys are not like that!!! I promise!!! God bless you all!!!🙏 🙏 I hope this helps someone out there!!

I know how girls can be. I have more friends that are girls than guys and I see how hurt they are just a month ago one of my friends that is a girl wanted to break up with her boyfriend because of what one of our friends said her boyfriend was cheating behind her back and since she was sad and everything I was comforting her because I didn’t want to see that. She is good now they broke up after the day.

My daughter would never have taken that abuse. Not only was she very proud but she also had two black belts. As for my wife, I was 36 and she was 28 when we got married. We had only been dating nine months when we got married. I would never have laid a hand on her or verbally abuse her like that. She died a year and a half ago and I miss her terribly.

@Pettie Steyn I will, but a decade of people forcibly requiring me to dedicate my life to religion has now turned me against it. I had no social life growing up because I wasn't allowed to have my weekends off- I went to church. I was an alter server for years, baptized, communed and so on all without my consent. Religion was not bestowed upon me it was an expectancy my family had of me and i'm over letting other people (let alone metaphorical ones) dictate my life.

This scenario hits home with me as well. My sister's first boyfriend in HS was exactly like this, but worse. He wouldn't even let her talk to other dudes in a casual way. I hated the dude. Fortunately she dumped him during her Freshman year in college. And she's happily married for 18 years now to a guy 11 years her senior. They live in Nashville and he was an Extra of sorts in the Carrie Underwood/Miranda Lambert video "Somethin' Bad" My sis worked for CMT when they met.
