This is some severely underrated content. That being said i have literally no clue what any of this means i just thought it was somewhat interesting and funny and im personally hyped for the voidz' new album

I'm so happy you found it useful! Yeah honestly the way a lot of this stuff is taught in institutions is so unintuitive... Thank you so much for the kind words and the support my friend 🙏

I did not have the 11 hours to watch the streams, but am so happy to have a knowledgeable musician and good teacher cover one of my favourite bands/musicians. I had to rewatch this about twice to completely understand as someone newer to theory and self-educated about it, but eventually I did. Great job, really helping me develop my ear and as a bonus I can now play the little intro riff.

The Voidz are one of the most exciting groups out there right now, they are deserving of so much more attention and analysis hehe! Thank you so much for watching and for sharing your thoughts, let me know if there's anything else I can do to assist in your journey :)

Now, this was really insightful. You've always gotta give it to Julian for making those little unique chord loops. Hoping to see the 2nd and 3rd part as I'm too lazy to watch the livestreams!

JC makes the best loops in the biz hehe Thanks for watching, I'm glad you found it insightful! Would love to make more vids on the voidz, hopefully the video will perform well 🥰

Piano being louder helps a ton. I think the overall quality here is great. Cool to learn about modal mixtures!

Had a recording glitch on the last video where the piano didn't record correctly! I wasn't sure if anyone noticed but looks like you've got a good ear haha! Thanks for letting me know- piano is staying nice and loud :) Thank you for watching- hope you had fun and learned something useful :)

The indiscriminate gliding between Roman numerals, scale degrees, solfege, and letter note names 😅😅😅😅 I know it can be confusing but having a fluent understanding of all of these is the best way to achieve full comprehension of this stuff! Thank you for the support 🙏

@@mattygregmusic how can I learn this myself? Is it music theory I need to get to grips with?
@mattygregmusic11 ай бұрын
@@nicjones7102 there's tons of free resources online both on and off KZbin to learn about these things! There's also always auditing a college theory course or getting a textbook yourself. I used the norton "musicians guide to theory and analysis" in college and didn't hate them haha. I also teach private lessons! I'm running a radical affordability program rn too 😁
