Maui // February 2022 // Pt. II

Part two of our February 2022 Maui adventure during peak humpback whale migration.
During day 3 of our time on Maui we did a 2 hour whale watching tour with "Ultimate Whale Watch" in Lahaina, which gives a more intimate experience with the whales due to the small group and boat size. We also drove the "west maui road to hana" to the Nakalele Blowhole hike to see some amazing scenery. Then capped off the day with some snorkeling at Black Rock in Kaanapali where we swam with a green sea turtle before ending the night at the Drums of The Pacific Luau.
Day 4 was dedicated to Haleakala National Park where we drove from sea level to 10,000 feet! Then hiked the beautiful sliding sands trail before heading back to Kaanapali to enjoy some Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice on the beach.
Day 5 was our departure day but we still managed some last minute snorkeling and a visit to Down the Hatch for lunch in Lahaina.

Nice video. Great footage of some hiking trails I haven’t checked out yet. If you go again, Kapalua bay has the best snorkeling in Maui in my opinion.
