I love this fight scene because it shows how many time Obi wan replays that fight in his head. At 1:35 you see darth maul going for a left and then right strike by which he follows up with a hilt slam which he then uses to reverse stab qui-gon. Obi won originally had been using his originally iconic stance but he changed stances to match his master qui-gon. He remembered how the fight went and predicted what maul would do and as a result was victorious. Incredibly well done

I love how Obi-Wan goes from calm to protective once Maul even hints that he’s going to harm Luke, and you can see that transition in his facial expressions.

They may have been the most divided people in the galaxy but at the same time they were kind of friends. Yes maul hated obi wan and obi wan didnt like maul but they always were sure that they would be a constant in each others lives.

My favorite part about this fight is that eagle eyed viewers knew exactly what Obi-Wan was doing the second he changed stances. Memories of previous fights were going through his mind. The second Maul took his stance, Obi-Wan won the battle. I love that it reminds us that in the Obi-Wan vs Vader fight...while it looks 'slow' there are a thousand things going through the minds of these EXPERT duelists. Zachattack1021 He was and still is but he somewhat lost that title when he fell to the Dark Side. Obi Wan by that time perceived Luke was the Chosen One to succeed on what his father failed to do which was to destroy the Sith. Only after he was redeemed in Episode VI do we see Anakin be referred to as the Chosen One. In my opinion though Maul was I think referring still to Anakin as the Chosen One because he has known of Anakin's abilities since Episode 1 and not Luke but it appears that Maul really was referring to Luke.

The flashbacks muted and made like 70% transparency only with gray, it would have been perfect. But this is just good sadly. Also you should have made the music play to it's end, there was like 12 seconds left from it.
