If he gets into the finals, he clearly has already surpassed several players in my estimation--such as Joel Embiid for starters. IF Luke gets into the finals on the heels of this regular season, I think it is time to move him right below Jokic. A couple lessons we need to take from these POs: - Let's not compare guys to MJ or Kobe after just one series or even one game. I love Ant's game, he is most definitely a double threat and the sky's the limit for him, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. - This is not just from last night, but I don't want to ever hear again the Luka (and Irving) can't defend argument. The Mavs defense has been quite elite for the whole POs now and both Luka and Kyrie have been defending the best perimeter threats of the other team with incredible success even in 1v1 situations. I said something similar in your last video (I think it was the last one), but Luka is definitely the only player in position to even challenge Jokic as the best player in the league Even if they win the championship. Tatum and Ant are just not there (not even worth mentioning Hali), but Luka could be huge. I'm rooting for both Luka and Jokic in general.
