Great watch and great review. I'm thinking the pushers are water resistant even without closing them, just not if you push them. The locks prevent that from happening. Not positive on that. I love my SNJ025, this may be next. The new one doesnt strike me as better or worse, just a different option stylistically. The depth sensor is the new bit but we all know few will use it. I'd want to get the metal shroud and bracelet from the SNJ033, this dial and color combo is the one to get though.

I've watched a ton of reviews on the newest Arnie and I'm shocked that no one mentions this big difference. Especially if you wear the watch on your left, the pushers now being on the right side of the watch, are much easier to unscrew and operate with your right hand (as opposed to unscrewing the with your right hand on the previous model - which I do have). So that's is a big difference in ergonomics imo.

I have an old 80's turtle diver that I have used to dive all over the world. My old 40 year old Turtle diver died in Fiji. When I got home I sent it back to Seiko to get it fixed. it cost $400 just to referb it. I saw the Padi and thought it would be a nice watch, as I do dive. So I got one. I like that it has a dive computer on it. I use my watch as a pack up to my dive computer so I have redundancy for safety. Having a dive computer not just a watch is cool. I cant wait to use it on a dive and check it with my SCUBA dive computer and see how accurate it is. The new band is so much better than the old bands more flex and comfort. thanks for your review.

As long as you guys buy Seiko's flawed pieces they won't bother to correct the problems.

Should have a water sensor so you don't have to unscrew the dive button while getting ready to dive and then screw it again before jumping in the water. I Scuba dive.

The biggest problem with these "more affordable" Seiko watches is the garbage Hardlex crystals, which scratch so easily compared to Sapphire and at this price, they should've been sapphire

Non Padi versions have Solar on the dial. The bracelet versions look great.

Design-wise I like the old one with display on top (has that original Seiko look), but I admit/agree it falls in the shadow. The taller stretched slanted font also makes it look less Seiko, and more like Casio to me. (not that I dislike Casios in any way, I have plenty of them).

Awesome vid man! I have a weird question. Does your watch's digital dial randomly factory reset/shut off with exposure to bright light outside? Had to return my SNJ025 because of this issue and want to get the 035 but I'm worried the issue followed over. Thanks for the answer!

I like most everything about this watch EXCEPT for the Solar movement. Seiko should have stayed with their tried & true traditional Quartz movement. I do not like the Solar movements made by Seiko. Every Seiko Solar I have owned had issues beginning with the PADI SNE435 that I paid almost full price for when it first came out. The only Solar watches remaining in my collection are Citizen.
