Gregory: I think you are under-estimate who Wade and Bosh were at that time. DWade was a top 10 if not top 5 players at that time, on the overall talent he is no Steph but still an all-time great. Bosh was a top 3 to top 5 PF at the time, and given the style of Miami big 3, I would say he was a better 3rd wheel than Kevin Love. People love saying how that Miami team was not "stacked" while in fact they were top 3 in the league the moment they formed together. As for GS, correct me if I am wrong, but EVEN with KD, some people were saying that Rockets would have beat them last year if CP3 is healthy, and Spurs with a healthy Kawhi could have beat them 2 years ago. So they are not as "dominant and unbeaten" as you have said because there are teams that could have beaten them. To me, the issue was because especially Lebron teams got no shot of beating those Warriors while other teams could have without having a stacked team, that does not help what Max is saying, which is "Lebron is wayyyy better than everyone else"

Thank you why would you not want the best offensive player and the best defender. LeBron James does not make other players better it's a media narrative that has been created throughout his career. How can LeBron make other players better than they are, but everyone always says his teammates are bad. Shouldn't they be better because of LeBron? That doesn't make any sense. KD is the best offensive player in the league. Not only can he score from anywhere on the floor with high efficiency, but he can playmake too. He averages 5.5 assists in a system where the ball is shared evenly. The Warriors have two other players averaging over 6 assists per game in Curry and Green. They share the ball a lot, since they rank first in assists so not one person is going to have a lot of assists per game. LeBron has a lot of assists because he runs the LeBron system where he is the one doing everything. He handles the ball all the time so he will eventually get his assists up. You can tell he dominates the ball by his team ranking further back in assist per game. If Durant was in the same situation LeBron was in he would probably average around the same amount of assists. KD's ability to play off ball is the reason he would pair up better next to a superstar than LeBron. KD can run off ball and let someone else have it not taking away from them at all. That's why KD blended so well with the Warriors when he joined. LeBron is not a good off ball player and has minimal post game. The time the offense didn't revolve around LeBron was in 2011 in the finals when he didn't know what to do and froze up. The way you can tell he was playing more off ball is because his usage rate that series was lower than both Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade. LeBron just has a higher usage rate so he will make make more plays. The time KD had a his highest usage rate of career he won MVP. So it's just if he chooses. But if one's usage rate is too high it can affect the team around hence why Russell Westbrook teams are not too good. LeBron is just a better version of Russell Westbrook. He is more efficient and has a higher IQ. KD is currently better than LeBron and is easier to play alongside. He has not taken away from Curry, Klay, or Green since getting there. When LeBron has made Kevin Love and Chris Bosh play out of position. They became spot up shooters. Chris Bosh would rarely take threes in Toronto and then he would take multiple per game during his time in Miami. Dwayne had to had LeBron the keys to Miami so he was not as productive as he once was. And Kyrie just had his best season on the Celtics the year after leaving LeBron. He showed he can play make and defend a little too. Stephen A Smith is spot on with this thing, the media has gotten the control of so many people's opinions nowadays😂

Adrian Simmons Jr. Adrian Simmons Jr. you’re kidding right? One of the better things about LeBron is that he elevates his teammates. He is extremely good at making any player look better. And that’s because he is great at running offense. He gets everyone involved. Everyone plays better with LeBron. Unless it’s playoff time then everyone quits on him. This. People can say SAS this and MAX that all they want the whole problem with the debates here is both tend to go off on tangents to convince the other their opinions are facts and that annoys me most with Max. There is nothing wrong with either opinion here. I don't care that Lebron is technically the best player in basketball right now but this debate is not about how great Lebron is on the court it's how he would get along with Kd or Kawaii. Some think he will be fine with either some like one over the other. Either way they are opinions. SAS can not sit there and say FACT the best of the 3 is kd with Kawai and Max has not right to sit there saying as a fact that simply because Lebron is the best player he deserves to be in the pairing no matter what because he's Lebron. It's opinions. As for me I would have to say I think Lebron and kawai are the better pairing and my OPINION is that while i do feel KD is a better overall shooter than Kawai I think Lebron will complement Kawai's defensive skills better. That's just my two cents.
