Max is a bold yet serene pit of Nostalgia. Growing up with the series whenever I find his tune playing, I need to stop for a few moments to appreciate it. Even at the age of 20 this tune backed up by those sirens gives me the feels. I know it sounds like an exaggeration but the time and view of each game somehow became a strong memory inside me.

I think I may have found another Easter Egg / reference in Max Payne 3. It is in the Panama level and there's a hot tub in the center that's mostly closed but you can still look into it. Inside, you see the tub filled with blood as well as a body. As you clear out this area, Max says "I was in a ghost ship in a ghost canal, the whole thing creeped me the hell out." I believe this may be a reference to the human sacrifices and the pool of blood you can find in Max Payne 1 near the Lupino fight. The quote is also something that feels like it would be related to that particular level in Max Payne 1.

I'd actually watched the Baseball Bat Boy TVs before but this video made me realize there's what might be considered a continuity error. The second TV shows the remaining portion of the episode, but with a Portuguese dub over it. However if you pay attention to the mouth movements, they actually match up perfectly with the Portuguese voice over. Assuming that in the world of Max Payne Captain Baseball Bat Boy is an American cartoon, you would expect a noticeable difference in the mouth movements vs. what is being said since the mouth animation would be matching up to English like the first part did. Not a big deal but it's interesting to note little details like that.

This game is one of the greatest of all time, its better than both the first ones i love all the lil things his says to himself to rationalize everything he does, at Least alcohol and pain pill wise, he bargins and such its just how someone like this would be at this point, all the shit hes lived through and put his body through he truly is john mclane,in fact if you think in terms of die hard , this is the only job a guy like mclane could take after gettin kicked off the force or so, they just couldnt really call him that, im fact max payne is literally a character from an ALAN WAKE BOOK max payne is alan wakes john mclane , its wild how remedy does that, this game is a masterpiece it stand amongst one of the greatest feats in gaming ever, to the point where each bullet is actually there traveling through the air and such , i love the somewhat darker feel of the game and its story, even compared to the first two which were much more noir than this one ,but this game might have created the modern noir, and idk why but i feel his internal monologue is the best way to deliver story and his opinions, i love it
