You forgot one. When Max asks the janitor for the password, the janitor says "667. Neighbor to the Beast. Get it?" This is a reference to the original Max Payne. When Max is in the underground bunker, the code for one of the doors is "665" and Max comments on how it's the neighbor to the Beast.

@@Asidders yeah I feel the same way. The atmosphere, the more complex story, the slickness of it all.. I'm just not feeling it. MP1 was flawed, yes, but it had such a raw and real feeling to it. Plus the aspect of the snow storm, which makes it Max alone against the big bad world. It's an amazing feeling going through that story, no matter how many times you play it.

In the 2º nightmare, near the end, where the officer and Mona are talking and then they shoot you, you can read a text that says "Wake up Max, you're in a videogame!". It happens in the prologue of the 3º chapter. In the Prologue of the 3º chapter in Max Payne 1, if you use a "Dangerous paper", there's a little cutscene where Max discovers that he is in a Videogame. Cool, right?

The janitor gives you the code which is 667 he makes a reference to the number being the neighbor to the beast. In the first Max Payne, Max uses the same reference when he found a code which was 665.

Yep, any fan of max payne 1 and 2 knows that MP3 is not cannon. It didn't happen. Remedy made an ending to max payne 3, depicting his death, inside a manuscript in the game Alan wake. You should check it out, if you wanna know how he died.

Let me tell you a story, Back when i was a young. i used to have Max Payne 2 on Xbox. i used to get to the part with the singing janitor and just sit there listening to him sing. i love that song. acouple days ago after i finished Max Payne 3 i went back and finished 1 and 2. I looked up the song. i now have it and all the Max Payne theme songs on my Ipod. Yes i also have the song "Tears" by "Health". A professional street gang that Rockstar kindly asked to make them a song. Thumbs up for MP.

Missed one. As Mona, I know how to get down to Max on the last level of The Genius of the Hole (Where you shoot the guy off the ledge and Max says to aim for the gas bottles), doing so will skip more than half the level. I'm pretty convinced not many people know how to do this.

It's actually a speedrunning trick that requires a double jump on the small brick exposed part of the wall outside then jump backwards and kepp hitting s and shoot the guy and you'll be there

Its because when Max Payne was first made its budget was very low. So the games writer Sam Lake himself acted as the face of Max Payne. After its release it was so popular, that they had bigger budget for Max Payne 2. So Lake declined the role and professional actor Timmothy Gibbs was hired to act as Max Payne.

The need to make a game for Dick Justice set in the 70s that focuses on humor and funkiness. Then they need to make a Mona Sax game that mirrors the original Max Payne and shows what she was doing while Max was chasing down his Valkyr leads and has flashback levels about her young and how she became a killer. They need to give her a HUGE motivation though to make it worth it like maybe some people killed her father and then ran a train on her or something.
