I’ve always made “unarmed” builds in all these games, DkS2 was a high point for the concept. Freely switching between vanquishers’ seal boxing and an invisible bonefist for the kung fu moveset was so fun in invasions. I’m so happy to see some high kicks here! Hope it’s a dex-faith weapon.

I'd wager that this expansion takes place inside Miquellas dream, or nightmare. We see horrible amalgamations of things he's witnessed. I am very curious on who Messmer is, they seem to be another Formless Mother follower. Messmer may also be a child of Marika and Radagon. He has the red hair and golden eyes. I expected Miquella to be the main boss, but it seems like maybe he wants to help us. Unless we get baited. We free Miquella, only for him to somehow be super evil

Calling it now, Messmer is the third child of Radagon and Marika. We have Malenia, Miquella and now Messmer. Just Like Rykard, Radahn and Ranni are Rennala/Radagons children. According to Hidetaka Miyazaki they are going to add 8 new weapon categories. Not 8 single weapons, but categories.He already came forward with a lot of details. 10 new bosses (assumingly main bosses) will be added. The difficulty of those will most likely surpass the ones in the main game, like usually in Fromsoft DLCs. The entry point will be in Mohg's arena, after defeating the Lord Of Blood. The atmosphere will be much darker, compared to the main game. The additional area will most likely have approx. the size of Limgrave. The download size will be comparable to the whole main game (approx. 60GB).

Eurogamer got an interview with Miyazaki where he mentioned that it's bigger than any other DLC they've made, the new map bigger than Limgrave, they have 6 new weapon _TYPES,_ they also have a unique division beyond just the separation of map regions & legacy dungeons, AND it's meant to allow you to progress how and when you want in a unique way.

Ive been rewatching Elden ring trailers and reactions just recently and now this trailer releases. I expected this to take a good while, the main game is already massive and just incredible. So for the dlc to be big makes sense. Anyways speaking of expected, it looks so beautiful insane. People are already probably going nuts over the lore and how much your gonna go through. If I had ti guess the next/last trailer will be at summer fest as that’s early summer and this is coming late summer. But yeah, hope you souls fans are hype and excited. ❤

Messmer's body looks very, very similar to what we see in the cocoon that Mogh had in his temple. The way the elongated arms looked. Possible that Miquella tricked Mogh or managed to swap out somehow with him knowing?

There's also an area in the main game called The Impaler's Catacombs and in it you find a ghost child saying, Oh Marika Queen Eternal. He is your unwanted child. This along with the lore given that let's us know that the Erd Tree was burned before leads me to believe that he's a child of Marika.
