@@fulldump9834 😂😂😂
@MrLarsson924 жыл бұрын
@@fulldump9834 This year (2020) is the fastest F1 cars has ever been. They don't sound as fast, but the regulations/"formula" set before the 2017(?) season allows the cars to be insanely quick, although that can damage the ability to overtake and race wheel to wheel. F1 naturally always gets quicker every year because the teams are pushing the development of the cars really hard and exploiting every possibility that the rules allow until it reaches a point where FIA, who is in charge of F1, decides to rewrite the rules to force the teams to build slower cars, for safety, sporting and entertainment reasons. We want exciting racing more than extremely fast cars. In the end to be "fast" is relative. Personally I would love to see extremely fast cars and really safe and good racing. I'm not sure though that is possible. maybe one day. From 2021 onwards though the focus will be on better racing and putting on a greater and more exciting show for the fans more than outright speed, which I think is the right way to go. Eventually the teams will find ways to make the cars insanely fast again :) But I do wish for some more high rev engines, to get back that mighty roar... Ehm, no, I mean Scream of the pre 2014 days. :)

Very true, but I still have my doubts, I don't see the overtaking possibilities. Even down the main straight it's gonna be hard to overtake because of the series of medium to high speed corners that lead onto it, the car in front will always get a better launch. It just feels like they rushed this bc they wanted a race dedicated to max quickly, reminds me a lot of how they out of nowhere put the Valencia GP on the calendar in 2008 just for fernando Alonso. @@davebcf1231 Well it's a give and take I think, I personally think the track looks awesome, just awesome. But then I tend to like thing's like Monaco, Leguna Seca, and shy away from long many turn technical tracks like say Barcelona. Not that I don't like the difficulty of more turns and everything, but Seems like this track here, Leguna Seca and some others still have some good turns to navigate, they don't distrupt some natural "flow" and make the track more open to the drivers intuition and feeling maybe? Of course the traditional F1 fan will probably not like it which is a valid opinion of course.
