Lol…Canoe, canoe? I can’t believe I remembered their commercial. That was my dad’s signature scent during my childhood in the 70s (it “was” his scent; he no longer wears fragrances, on account of my mother’s migraines ☹️). I might have to grab a bottle just for sentimental reasons, especially since it’s so inexpensive.

Great video and very helpful video. Wonderful content always. Thank you. I tried JPG Le Male Le Parfum first and loved it!! Decided to then try the original. For some reason, there is a note in the original Le Male ,that to my nose, smells like mildew. Lol. Any idea of what note I’m discerning that way?

Marvelous list. I love them. But cannot figure for JPGaultier its in this list, relate with fougere. I have this 2 items, never been talk, really hope you could look into, and give the advise. Its Zegna by E Zegna, its the old dark green bottle, with orang box. This is amazing, but never heard any body talks to. Dior sauvage extreme, this is also marvelous smell, nobody talks to. Are they fougere? Someone should talks these 2 exotic frag. Thank you

Thank you for such informative videos. Being still relatively new to better fragrances, I've been trying to learn and to properly describe them. I recently tried my first real fougere and it was Fougere D'Argent. Love at first sniff. My most recent scent is the NFT1 from Scents of Wood NFT subscription. I've heard Fabrice describe it as a woody musk, but with notes of white musk, lavender, and vetiver, could it also be a fougere? Curious to see if I'm picking out the correct descriptions.
