Fun Fact: When a train is set to "wait for full" (no matter which version) and it's waiting in a station due to that, it will cost lower maintenance. The difference isn't huge, but it's noticeable and worth considering (30-50%? ish?). This ONLY applies to waiting in stations due to that order. It does NOT apply to waiting at signals or any other waiting that may happen. So there's a purpose to using this now, especially for lines that have a higher rate than their supply does (like the line from Queson City Farm was for a while there, for example). (I was about to comment just for youtube algorithms sake, so I thought might as well write something that may be of use to someone, enjoy)

It doesnt seem to really "matter" though.... I mean, for example you still get full profit for jamming Grain down a Food Factory's hole, even if their output is "jammed up" by a truck stop at 200 ! overcrowded station.. The only "thing" that can get "sad" by overcrowded stations are passengers, as this lowers your citywide rating/bonus. But as for freight, doesnt seem to matter. You always want full stock waiting to be picked up anyway, much better to have a few items of cargo disappear due to overcrowding, than have less than a full load on your next pickup..

you cant extend the platform on the station because you added normal track to it not the modularised station track, just bulldoze and rebuild using said modular system, otherwise may run into some minor complications later

I'm looking forward to this game, the original is tricky to get trains to work - i waited a good 40 in game years to actually implement trains and they are sooooo blimin' expensive to implement - plus you always forget something...knowing what to and not to do with initial train implementation would be advantageous. I think the modular stations will make it a hell of a lot easier to get trains profitable from the off.

Here is a question for the Colonel and I can appreciate if he's not allowed to answer. Have you in TF2 experienced getting the flashing red icon of doom at the top of the screen, clicking on it only to find the problem it is complaining about is that it's taking too long for people to travel between one or more towns, longer then a maximum permitted amount of time. Weirder still is these towns tend to be ones on or in an area of the map you haven't done anything to or in yet and therefore have in no way effected them since the map was generated? So the game seems to be complaining about it's own network connections it setup.

So weird to making this comment being the student and you being the master; but simple way to figure out the amount of cars required on the Foot Production : Alpha would to looking at the frequency since the farm maxes at 200. So if the train arrives every 6mins then one train with 100 capacity would work fine etc....
@gaikokuhito55745 жыл бұрын
Oh, Master Failure. Don't forget the fact that passengers now has changed or been explain more in TF2 as they travel from Home (Residents) to Work to Home to Commercial so bus routes work best if they travel from Residents through commercial to Industry.

@Colonel Failure Colonel, i not know why you always put a Mugol for pulling Freight and not take Fairlie in first place?! And a short time later you saying: The Mugol is not going to cut ti! :D Its funny but after four series not anymore, ok!? :) The Mogul is not for freight anyway and it's good for short and fast passenger trains only! The running costs are very high too! The Fairlie is much better, the running costs are nearly the half but a little slower and it can out run a Mugol on Helix uphill nearly by 3x times! A Tip: Replace the Loco on your Lumber Line with two Fairlie's, so the line can make more money! :)
