That's the problem with hiring a designer. The budget blew it 50% even though they did some work themselves. The designers haven't a clue and can't make it work anywhere near the budget.

This layout is totally confusing to me. I hope they don’t plan to sell because, despite how great the kitchen/family room looks, they sacrificed their living room and have two tiny bedrooms.
