So, in 1 comment: -the lothern sea guard did missile damage because they have more ap then normal archers. The normal archers do 0 damage -there was not much reason to start healing imo, the leadership barely got below 80 throughout the battle. This combines with why I didn't think gotreks trait was needed. -the 25% fire resistance is because regen gives fire weakness, and I calculated to 90% without knowing about that 10% from sotek. -yes the ward save is a banner from COS specifically, it's one you can only get from the t2 sacrifice for a banner. I used mazdamundi's fat ass to go straight through the melee infantry and take out the sea guard and artillery first, I didn't even go below 10k wo healing. The 22% magic weakness also helps a lot to make non overcasted comets killer in short range. In my opinion the match would have been way easier if you had avoided healing during it. -and last but not least: I don't know how to teleport so I console commanded movement. It was NOT fair, unlike the teclis one I made.

@@udozocklein6023 basically u should go for the lords who usually wipe fast so u can catch them b4 + legend got a video about lords who can revive through rebellion so u can catch some of them later if they wiped + be ware if any lord joined another factions with confed u should go for him asap b4 wipe otherwise u loose him forever.i did the same without any cheat as teclis in my new campaign (the only thing i used so far is save editor and just deleted useless traits cus its capped and i forgot to use particular mode for that so should remove them once a while -_-) however still need some trait specially the unbreakable one its hard to find gotrek but atleast we know dwarfs or empire never wipe in campaign so i can go for that later i got tyrion too so maybe i made another 1 man mele doomstack with him At the end its harder this way without cheat but u wont miss the great and fun journey to get them and make the most badass lord in the game

And from personal experience of trying to get this exact one man stack, it feels like it has a really low...drop rate? Spawn rate? Every turn the drops you get from the banners/followers seems to be determined so your best bet is to stockpile slaves then save scum round by round. Still, it's a right pain in the ass.

Having multiple armies, its possible. Like just set up an army near Hell pit and trade mazdamundi in, another army sits in the headquarters of clan mors, then another in naggarond. You get the idea. Mazdamundi doesnt have to do a world tour as an army, he can just take over the army the second he is availible. He doesnt have to send a whole army, just one lord is enough :D (but the campaign has to go really really well for that tbh.)

He used unlimited movement, either through console or cheat engine, which is totally fine since the point is to showcase what can be possible in a real game (just a hundred or so turns later). Source: sometimes I like to cheat as well

I did (console). It's just that the critique in my teclis one just made me go "okay then the next one will be perfect". If I could make this stack again I still wouldn't put in gotreks trait though, since he didn't even get to half of his rediculous morale. It's just legend being affraid that it's just like snikkers.

@@Marcusjnmc yeah but there is limited traits and gotrek was "the next one" when I hit the cap. made a mistake getting morathi though. Still, it's (nigh) impossible for an ai army to beat a 125 morale immune to psychology/fear/terror slaan. Having 0 hp is -80, difficulty -4, and attacked in the rear+outnumbered+taking missile fire together should be about 20. this still leaves over 20 morale left, so not even a screaming catapult can take care of that. Legend himself said that a doomstack isn't necessary able to beat anything imaginable, it's able to beat anything you can reasonably expect. And I can't reasonably expect mazdamundi's morale to get below 40 (when frenzy turns of) in 99%+ of my fights, so that means the trait is without value, unlike it was when I send in teclis.

i would love to see something like a "how to perfectly exploit"- series where its about how far you can push the game i mean the traits for mitsubishimundi here are ridicoulus and i believe that with guys like snikch or grom for example you could take it to an absurd level might be cool to have this series in a fast forwarding scheme like setting absurdly high goals first and then show the most essential steps (and lucky happenings) to get there

He beat me to this, I was working on getting Throt's trait and gore-drenched (and more knowledgeable wizards) A few things he missed for more power: Rite of primeval glory (feral cold ones summons), neither of the sacrifices spells Personal choice from me is Mazdamundi is stronger off of Zlaaq depending on what you are fighting Either way, my campaign is like 170 turns in and I don't have all these traits so if you didn't cheat OP, nicely done!

@@aprinnyonbreak1290 Mazda didn't make all of naggaroth mountainous iirc, he closed off 1 pass that was the only way south through the already mountainous lands by raising a mountain over it. also iirc the realignment of the world was a bit of a joint effort, he had to commune with other Slaan before channeling the power to do it. & you missed out the time a human settlement was being annoying so he turned it into a big hole in the ground with a wave of his hand, though ig that is less impressive than the others.

So a little lesser known fact about the Gore-Drenched trait: you do NOT need to suffer high casualties to get it. You need to suffer a high-percentage of casualties. So basically, it's entirely possible to go into combat with just your lord and 1 other unit, have that unit die, repeat, and eventually get the trait to max rank. I can confirm this is how it works because it's how I got Gore-Drenched on Archaeon. I put Archaeon and a single marauder unit into combat with a tomb king garrison over and over again until he had the trait maxed.

To get gore-drenched you need to win a battle where your army takes >60% casualties 7 times. To get bloody it is 3 times, and the second stage is 5 times.

Getting that Regeneration trait really is a lifesaver and I'm loving not using the Sword of Khaine to get through these. Thank god someone else did this suiciding Nakai and Gor Rok into the toad made my campaign 10x harder. I also realized halfway through Tehen is very likely a better doomstack because his unique lines actually buffs magic.

I am still thinking about which, but teeny only uses beast magic. Also, I wasn't aware of the 10% factionwide. I calculated 90% ward. I find it a shame he didn't show the attack bonusses btw, it was 27 vs infantry and 42 vs large. With the sotek 10% extra he can get: sotek 10%+ engine of the gods 5%+ banner 25% +talisman 17% +armor 15% +plaque 4% +10% wurzhaag is still only 87%. So I will have to choose between magic or 90%. I wasn't aware of the engine efect and 10%, and thought that 82% ward without casting focus wasn't good enough. So I will have to choose between 90% with more attack or 87% and cheaper spells. Still I think I am limited to just flocks, so the extra ward is probably better.

If at max resistance , take the banner of swiftness instead and then camp in woods to get more missile protection and more advantage vs large unless they have strider as well or are woodies.

It had 100 WITH the banner. so 75 without. Still, a steg has enough mass to take out the lothern sea guard directly. I had done some testing, and archers (3 ap 18 non ap) didn't damage maz, but lothern (4 ap, 17 non ap) did. So I kind of put him in a bad situation there.

No. There's always a random factor in how AI factions turn out. Certain player actions can influence AI behavior, meaning a particular play pattern can sometimes result in an AI behavior pattern, but ultimately, outside of like, the first 5 turns, or factions that are clear, consistent powerhouses, it comes down to RNG and coincidence.

there's a hidden setting that causes the AI to attack you more , it doesn't guarantee that they do, but it makes it very very likely, they'll attack you even if they'd normally do something else because you're a player controlled faction

I reckon this was done with some sort of mod that increases campaign movement speed. I'm currently putting together an Alarielle doomstack that also doesn't use the sword of Khaine, I set off from Ulthuan on turn 20 or so with a stack of sisters, and I'm only half-way to getting all the traits at turn 80. She won't be as strong as Mazdamundi though, she's smaller on her Eagle but has much less HP. Edit: and I'm only doing it on Hard difficulty, Very Hard would be literally impossible to achieve this.

console commands because mazdamundi never wants to confederate and when sending in these stacks legend gets really picky about the traits and I just didn't want him to be able to complain about anything. Complaining about not getting gotrek was a bit unjustified though, since mazdamundi didn't get below 70 morale even once in the entire battle.

Poor Zlaaq must have awful back pain. Imagine having to carry a gigantic frog wizard on your back. AND you need to fight while carrying it. CA should patch it so that Zlaaq loses HP over time to represent his immense back pain. And also since Mazdamundi is thousands of years old he must have outlived several of his mounts. Thousands of stegadon vertebrae broken beneath enormous slaan asscheeks. Truly grimdark.

Still waiting for a Fey Enchantress one man doomstack. I think she doesn't need SoK. Has relatively low armor, but Bretonnia can give +2(?) armor to all units with a building. She has Life magic, passive damage when in melee, magic res. cap on a unicorn, high speed and 2 bound casts of comet of cassadora

I have thought about it, but with Morathi I could only achieve 82 ward (identical to fey without weird faction mechanics), but fey lacks something that teclis and morathi didn't have a problem with: teclis and morathi have 1 1/2-2 times the weapon strength and ap damage. Also they have better melee stats. Still, their biggest weakness was single entities. Whereas teclis could down 10 dragons I doubt the enchantress can do more then 3. (btw I didn't send in morathi because as I was finishing her off someone send of some low effert morathi with sok solo doomstack)

Didn’t submit this but I pretty much did the exact same thing in my campaign. Things to note: He’s really not good in melee, mostly bc the melee attack is too low (you need around 90-140 to really be able to take on single entities/monstrous infantry in a 1 man doomstack) He’s a bullet sponge ofc, which is why I now advocate for foot lord (or flying ones) 1man doomstacks over monstrous ones. His animations can stall a bit, which is sort of par for the course with monster units, and is even more of a detriment when you consider his size and susceptibility to melee attacks.

Legend didn't show it, but I managed to give mazda 27 bonus vs infantry (63 attack+27 vs infantry=90) and a whopping 42 bonus vs large (63+42=105). So with all of the traits he is actually a decent damager in melee (better then teclis if teclis is not using magic).

@@Olav_Hansen ah nice that’s pretty cool then. I guess that would be pretty good vs large then. Only issue on offense then is the weapon strength so there’s that. But in general I still find foot lord 1man doomstacks to be much better bc they take a much higher ratio of damage output:damage input if that makes sense. If you haven’t given it a try yet, you can do this with Gor Rok extremely easily and then just have a flying skink priest circling around the enemy and popping spells for tons of aoe.

@@andrewtobias4545 it would be good, but I want to try all the 1 man doomstacks before going to the 2 man doomstacks. because just about every 2 man doomstack is possible I think. I want to try teeny next, send in morathi (morathi w/sok was last week) and try enchantress as well.
