‘Mano-mano’ that’s chavacano (my Filipino dialect) for using hands to eat. That’s the best way to eat chicken and rice. Love this video, it’s a shame I can only hit the like button once 🤩

Pempek is Palembang specialty. The traditional way to eat pempek is, take a piece of the fish cake with decent amount of sauce.. Then right after you take a good sip of the sauce straight from the plate(in palembang they usually give you this small bowl to drink the sauce from). And yeah the sauce makes this dish for sure. Spicy(though not all places serve spicy sauce) sour, shrimpie..

max.. when you eat mpek mpek. you can pour that sour sauce on top mpek mpek. mix that water sauce n mpek mpek then eat them. by this way, you can enjoy more their taste. so delicious..😊

@@Macoi24 Hey Max, yeah time goes so quickly, I'm now back in Australia in the cold winter but wish I was still traveling but have to make some money. I ended up only staying 6 months in Taiwan until my visa was up so didn't get work there. I went home via Thailand for a month and went to Bangkok, Pattaya and took a train to Chiang Mai that was fun but now back here looking to make some money and maybe travel again some time but probably not for 6 months at a time. My next stop will be Japan I'm pretty sure but is love to see more of Taiwan and maybe visit Hong Kong and Singapore as well. I've got a new passion for motorcycles so hopefully do more adventures on bikes like my trip around Taiwan on a scooter last time.

Well I've been known to sprinkle black pepper on mango ice cream so it's not that weird by my standards. ;) Hands down the Rujak es krim is my favorite food from this video. Looks like you really enjoyed the satay and chevon stew but tell us, did it have that distinct musky smell from the fat? Not that I think it would dampen your appetite ...
