I like your tutorials. You zip through a lot of information extremely concisely and yet clearly. More please!

Hi, I was referred to you through another channel. I have an issue that maybe you can help me with: When I reference in a my MASH network (its own scene file), everything imports fine, except the actual MASH instancer. No matter what I try, it is not visible (same if I import instead of reference). Do you have any idea why this might be? The scene I reference into is very large, so I can't afford to bring in a MASH mesh. I'm working in Maya 2017 with the latest update. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Ronnie, I'm afraid I'm going to need a scene where this is happening in order to look into this - my email address is on the info page of the channel.

How do you get these shadows in viewport?
@ianwaters60358 жыл бұрын
Hi Tom, easy :) 1. Add a light (e.g. a directional light) 2. Press 7 on the keyboard to turn on lighting 3. In the lighting menu in the viewport, turn on 'Shadows' Best, Ian

plz what's your GPU model??
@ianwaters60358 жыл бұрын
+rezki lakhzoum Hey, it uses the GPU to try and speed up the mesh building. It's not always faster - it depends a lot on how good your GPU is.
