The one thing none of these guides mention is how to add more bones on top of the quickrig, since its not a typical bone system. I need hands, tails, eye bones ect - but nowhere lists how to do it.
@RolandReyer6 жыл бұрын
In the Step-By-Step process in Step 4 create "Skeleton Only". Then you can add your own skeleton parts, like hands. After Skinning (maybe you need to increase the resolution for the Geodesic Voxel Binding) you need to add the HIK Rig in the HumanIK Window.

I have a quick question about the IK system. I followed your other tutorial about the manual set up so that I could add finger joints as well, but when I pull on the control surface like you do in the video, my character doesn't lean over like yours does. I'm guessing this is because I did this process in maya 2020 and maybe it handles the quick rig feature a little different and there is somewhere to switch between ik and fk that I didn't notice? Any ideas?

Also, something seems to have gone wrong and after saving and closing the file that I did the tutorial in, I suddenly can't move any of the joints around. It's like the tool didn't complete? The validation status has a large red X and none of the corresponding joints are green like they should be.

Hi Sofia, to have zero values makes it easy to return to a basic (zero) position. That‘s nice. If you don’t have that you have to have a keyframe for reset or a pose that you can load.
