I agree with a lot of this but saying "your giving away your life to another person" Isn't correct in my opinion. I healthy relationship is one where both parties can work on themselves separately. Being able to see how much time you should be dedicating to them and the relationship while also keeping yourself as a main part of your life. You should be with someone that compliments you not someone that hinders you.

Of course that’s what healthy relationships consist of. But, what I’m saying is that as teenagers we tend to not have healthy relationships, hence “giving away your life to another person”. I completely agree and understand your point though.
