I am Spanish and I think that Mr. Leon should resign. Councilmembers in Los Angeles city should focus on solving the issues of homelessness, give incentives to small and medium business; support our dying Hollywood industry. Solve the overcrowding issue, Stop being Sanctuary City, we do not have sufficient resources. Clean up the city. The entire city needs better cleaning services is very dirty. Sidewalks smell like urine and is fill with holes and construction sites and big trucks coming and going. It is just terrible

De Leon's transgression came about by not pulling out of the mayoral primary election in June 2022 when polling showed him a distant 3rd place in voter support.. By remaining an active primary candidate, De Leon likely prevented the anointed Establishment candidate Karen Bass from winning 50% of the vote and forced her into a costly run-off election with number 2 vote getter Rick Caruso.
