In response the the inevitable negative comments (and you guys are always the worst), Maynard James Keenan said was terrified before Ozzy induction and that he knew he was performing in a range out of his comfort zone, but he got the call and would honor Ozzy. He did a commendable job under the circumstances, performing to one friend from another. I mean you have MJK with Wolfgang blazing the solo and Chad Smith locking down the drums; unprecedented!

Ive seen tool 7 times, he messes up infrequently, i know, but ive seen numerous fuck ups done by each member including maynard, its not lipsynced, and im sorry that it makes you sad.

@@MarcusStinney yes, pay respect and don't butcher the song or don't do it all. I totally get it why it happened this way, Maynard was given only few days to practice. I literally felt how uncomfortable he was and was not enjoying himself. His face said it all. He is still my favorite vocalist though.
