We sat down to eat and my neighbor ( who's in the wine business) says to me Hey Russ you ever hear of a band called "TOOL". I responded with why yes I have. Well I just had that guy over at my house. I think his name is Maynard and gave me one of his CD's called 10,000 days. He's an interesting fellow I must say. Are they a popular band? My wife and I just started laughing. Small world.

I sat at breakfast place on a barstool about 10 years ago and met the man who signed Tool to a record contract. It was winter and the guy next to me had a tan on him. I turned to him and said "you look well rested" He told me he had left California and settled on the East coast. We started talking. He told me he ran Zoo Entertainment at one point. We talked for close to an hour. The stories he told me... Damn.. He unfortunately passed away. RIP Lou... Thank you for the stories...!

I wanna say it was an episode of the WTF Podcast where Maynard talked about testing high enough to go to officer training. Basically he had that fork in the road where he could pursue shooting up the chain of command in the military or abandoning it all to pursue art and music. I think we're all pretty thankful for the choice he made.

But the song lacked "action", that is needed for you to make your dreams come true. :) The achievement of your actions, obtaining your dream, ---is pure happiness. the only part that sucks, is if you travel to Jarome to go rock star hunting and have some fun, the workers and managers at his restaurants don't appreciate the music, don't know how BIG maynard is, almost blew me off when I asked a few questions about Maynard and Tool. Was dissappointed.......traveled from TX to get blown off by gatekeepers, even the bartender threw away my 14 yrolds "slushy" sayng NO DRINKS ARE ALLOWED. The GM didn't give two shits either.
