It's the one reason I still dig out my old 3DS. What a legendary game. I was so sad thinking there was no chance we'd ever see another release from them, but we're only a few months away now!

I was so heart broken when it wasn't dropping in late 2024. I sunk so many hours into the 1st game! I got my bf a switch so he can play this with me when it drops! 😊

I played "Fantasy Life" on the 3DS and it was a serious heavy hitter! Triple AAA status and beyond. The deph and content is deceptively deep, rich and HIGHLY enjoyable. It even had co-op that me and my brother would team up with to take on some challenging and rewarding dungeons. That game remains at the highest tier of the hundred or so titles I played on the system. Way to many to count or remember honestly. It completely stood out from the vast majority. Don't be fooled by the graphic/art choice or what may seem like a simple happy go lucky presentation.....the game is LOADED with deep progression, leveling, exploration and reward. Also don't expect to think you are going to be able to just steamroll through it in a flash! Oh no! It is no pushover and I mean that in the best way. I hope this follow up title delivers that same mind blowing quality and more.

Yes! You are right….It is a lot like Animal Crossing’s features with a “Battle Mode”. It would fill the gap until an Animal Crossing 3.0 gets new additions that enhances such a BELOVED game. It taught manners, cooking, crafting, decorating, designing, landscaping and then reached the educational levels of crops, fishes, seafood, fossils, artwork, art pieces and floristry. Topping that to a 3.0 concept. A new travel concept and a new learning skill (probably giving the villagers a trade of their own, since they have diverse personalities). As always Mayor Mori, keeping us up-to-date, we appreciate you 👏👏👏🎉🏆! 🫶😇

I literally cannot wait to play this game!!! I Will most likely play palette, and it was my favorite in the old game along with the magician!! I can’t wait to see the new fighting mechanics and see how the decorating works. I’m most excited about getting back into this game. I’ve been playing the old one on the 3DS for sometime now. January 4th Facebook showed me a memory that myself and my whole family were playing Fantasy Life 10 years ago. I loved Fantasy Life on 3DS, I had over 95 hours into it. I'm looking forward to trying the farmer life. The last game I enjoyed many lives including Paladin, Miner, and Woodcutter. I was really hoping they would add Farmer and Shop Keeper to this one. At least we got the Farmer part. I've been disappointed about the constant delays but I understand that happens if you want the best game possible. Praying the April release date sticks so I can get it for my birthday. 😊

I was a bit worried that the reason they pushed the release date was because they wanted this to be a Switch 2 title, thankfully that doesn't seem to be the case since it's available for preorder on the Switch. This will definitely fill the Animal Crossing void for me, I loved the Fantasy Life 3DS game and it looks like any future Animal Crossing games will only be on the Switch 2 which is a shame because I just can't justify buying a new console when my Switch works perfectly.

If it makes you feel any better, the leaks of the "Switch 2" have info about the console having backwards compatibility. Plus, the very few videos out seem to be making the console out as a "New" 3DS/2DS situation meaning that you might not need to buy the newest console for the next lineup of games. Ofc this is all speculative but I hope it eases at least a little anxiety. 🙇‍♀️👍

Fantasy Life was probably one of the best rivals/alternatives to new leaf on the 3ds and I am so excited for it, I remember when Fantasy Life Online shut down and I thought that was going to be over for the series but god I was so happy when FLi got announced.

First game was great, never beat it tho, got pretty far. Currently replaying it on steam deck. Hope the new one is even better. Switching lives on the go is an improvement for sure!

I’ll be honest… I’ve never played the first Fantasy Life game because I never got the chance… I knew about it but I never had the chance to buy it! Ever since then I’ve been waiting for another chance to play it or a remastered version of it. I’m really excited to at least play the sequel!!

This reminds me alot of Dark Cloud 2 (best game ever!). Fixing stuff in the past through the georama mechanic which is also a big giant robot that terraforms and creates houses to save the future. And made by the same company(unless there's more than one Level-5) ? 😮 Besides the similarities, my money is set for this game 🤗

FANTASY been waiting. Not so patiently for this game after 4 delays Would love to see a follow up specifically showcasing the multiplayer features. It's the part I'm most eager for as it will mean my sister and I can finally play together rather than just at the same time. But info on HOW much we can interact is scarce. In the mobile game between the 3ds and now it was quite restricted but there.

if this sells well enough, i hope they consider porting the 3ds version of the original Fantasy Life (plus the dlc) to switch aswell. already have a copy of the 3ds game, but i'd happily rebuy the game (especialy as my 3ds hinge is busted, so i cant really play it properly anymore)

A very fair comparison for this game is Dragon Quest Builders meets Final Fantasy job classes. FLi terraforming looks 1000x better than the single block stuff that New Horizon's has. Out of all games Ive played with terraforming, ACNH is -the- worst.
