WARNING: The current Maytag replacement for this 6 " has a DIFFERENT configuration of the terminals - Pay NO attention to the old locations as this video instructs. You must instead look closely at the old element and the new element for terminal identifications - if you look closely at the ceramics by the terminals you will see marks like 1a 1b 2a 2b, the correct wiring for the new element must match those terminal id's - the new model has 2 of these locations exactly opposite of the old oem unit. If you wire up like old locations it will not work - if you wireup by terminal id - it will work.

Ray, I have a Maytag advanced cooking system. While I was cooking, I heard a loud noise like the breaking of a light bulb inside the range. After that, the light that indicated that the surface is hot is not lighting anymore. What do you recommend?

Hope you will be able to read me after all that time but I have a problem. I have the same range and suddenly, my element don't work anymore. They are very expensive so I would like to know what to look for before buying a 250$ element. Is there a fuse box on those range? Where is it? Couls it be just a fuse? Or a less expensive part that gave up? Hoping you can read me... thank you

I have a PER5750QCW Maytag which has a failed 6" - 1200W burner. I have ordered a new one from PartSelect and I got one similar but with a different wiring configuration W10823696. Once installed it did not work. What can I do to get an identical part as the one I removed. On your website video you replaced exactly the part that I need. I would appreciate your advise.

I have similar glad top. Same brand Gemini with double ovens. I relocated my stove 5 feet to the left and now my perfectly good stove does not work. The clock is on, I turn on any of the 4 heating glass elements and nothing. No heat in either stove. Degrees says 100° yet no heat. I do hear a slight click sound. I have tried unplugging and waiting 24 hours and nothing. Can you please give me a hint where to start? Thank you
