Yes, he did. I got some emails from her three years ago. God knows I wished she should have went to him when I said it back then. When I saw my cousin's post on Facebook, I had to look at the online news. When I saw it, I called my mama! I told her, "Mama, Prince is dead and I gotta get in touch with Mayté!" My Mama asked me did I still have her information and I told her, "Yes, I still got it." I broke down. God knows I broke down! Mayté and I communicated on Twitter and email. My heart aches for her as we speak! God knows this is one celebrity death that hitted us too hard. 😢💜

+Diana Ratchford from what i remember she was planning to take the money and put it up for her adopted baby. She didnt need the money like that. I also saw that the pricing for the items were kind of steep, so they werent attracting really any bidders. Then he passed away, and from what i heard the articles were pulled off of auction and she kept them all instead. Potential buyers had a chance to get some 1 of a kind stuff for, at this moment, cheap. Now its too late. But the objective of the auction for her was just to finally give herself some freedom that she needed, some liberation both mental and emotional, which can take a toll physically too. Not really to raise money for herself.

I know that the marriage was contractual & wasn't even real. That's why she doesn't really have any real stories with him cause they didn't genuinely spend time together, even before that farce, he thought that she was an ugly duckling & the staff thought the same thing. She had to make appointments to see him along with the fact that he didn't want to be near her. It's a lot.
