Dude, thanks a lot for the video. It's quite helpful. My back suspension support has broke today, and I'm in vacations far way from home on my Mazda 2. I was able to get the replacement part and the garages around want to charge me 120eur to replace them. I will do by myself tomorrow. God bless you.

Really helpful video. Just purchased one of these and heard a noise at the back that the owners attributed to a loose spare in the trunk, which was loose but turn out the shock is out. Will be able to change easy. Ordered parts today

Great video my rear mounts won't undo but the only thing holding the shock is the capacitive nut which you accessed from the trunk.So is it possible to undo the nut from the trunk pull out the shock put the new one through and fit the new nut.any idea if that would work?

I think that would work. You would loosen the top nut from the inside. Then loosen the bottom of the shock and then the shock should come out leaving behind the cover tube which is still bolted to the car in the wheel well... That sounds like it would work to me, just a different way of doing it from what i did.

I think it would unfortunately my right rear mount when it did come off was cracked so had to buy a new one 😢

Have a question. Those shocks are the same for the ford fiesta? I’m having a hard time finding the ones for the Mazda 2 but it seems they are the same for the fiesta and Mazda 2

I'm not sure if they are the same as the Fiesta or not. I'll have to look into that. I found my shocks on Ebay.

there's no nuts that go on the upper mount bolts? when you pulled apart the interior were those nuts at the top?
