Mazdaspeed 3 Rear Wiper Delete!

Decided to get rid of my rear wiper today. I don't use it because the car isn't driven in bad weather. Much cleaner look without it. i got some rubber grommets from a local body shop for free so this mod was free to do!

Ah, the wiper delete. Looks SO much better without it. I haven't finished the video and I don't know how much it rains, but consider putting some rain-x on the rear window. It'll be impossible to see out of the rear window if it's rainy or wet.

its actually a good idea .. i see many cars without rear wipers .. those cars that have wipers on headlights are just stupid snow drivers

Ouch! Looks pretty… but… big BUT… The hatchbacks pull a lot of water spray when rolling in wet conditions… the aerodynamic effect of the roof and high angle window pulls the spray and lands it on it, locking rear view at high speeds. At 80 km/h ore more this effect is quite severe, using Rain X on the front windshield actually makes me turn on the rear whipper only. Removing it like you did, I guess it depends where you live or if you are a woman (rear view mirror women joke lol)… and it looks really nice, and near 1 kg lighter too. But it’s not for everyone. My stage 1 AWD CX7 suffers from the same. My Stage 3+ MS3 is even worse because I reach 230 km/ h before the end of the straight under wet conditions. lol I had lots of fun thanks to the storm/hurricane season… and track alone, lol cowards

LOL just shattered my entire window doing this! i tightened the little bit in too tight, thus putting to much pressure on that weak area ( where the hole is and where u block the hole ) , entire back window shattered everywhere. thousands of pieces, goddam. also rang a window show and its $1066 for a replacement.. a $35 rear window delete turned into a massive bill. fuck me. dont tighten it too much folks.
