What size is the axle nut?

Hey man i have a ms3 2007 and i was going to replace my cv driver axle, i bought an oem one from edgeautosport and it doesn’t have the notch where the big nut is, you know how your supposed to have a little amount of the nut bent into the notch, wondering what do you think? Should i return it or use it?

Mine didn’t either just make sure to properly torque it and you’ll be fine.

Did you have any emissions issues while doing the inspection? Recently did a gen 2 swap on my gen 1, the car drives amazing but can’t seem to clear some of the codes

No issues stock gen2 going into a gen 2 so it was gelly

was wondering if you can do a video on passenger side? I’m having a hard time removing the passenger side as it is two piece correct?

Sorry man sold the car so that might be tough ! Start by removing the axle from the hub and then pull it out of the half shaft. Then remove the 3 bolts holding the half shaft to the back of the block and pull that out of the trans. If it’s just to change an axle you don’t need to touch the half shaft.

I have a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3 and when I took out my axel today transmission fluid starting leaking everywhere

Did you lift just the one side where you are changing the axle ? If you don’t do that it is quite common for fluid to leak out when changing an axle.

I purchased from auto parts way if I remember correctly. It was either them or parts avatar. Both good sites with decently fast shipping and better prices than locally. I am in Canada though so it may be different for you if you are in a different country.

I believe it was a 32mm going from memory.
