Dang you did the extra long way. I just undid the strut and brake clip to remove the axle.

So you need to buy that mounting piece for it to fit on the hose? Like I couldn’t go to an auto store and just buy an off the shelf SAI?

but what about the throttle response ? did you feel less turbo lag or did it stay the same ?

How has the tune held up reliability wise? Anything get worn or break because of it?

Great video. I did the "budget" intake mod. CTS turbo inlet. Silicone hose upgrade to stock airbox, KnN performance stock filter and snow catch removed. It was working just fine until a few months ago. Now I have "ESC" code and check light. Not having the secondary air filter installed could this be the problem?

i put vw racingline springs on my mk5 r32 and its been a month and its only lowered it a quarter of an inch as opposed to the advertised .75 to an inch drop, i'd choose something else if you have a mk5

Do you see any issues with Greenstuff during winter driving ? e.g. 1st stop sign not stopping ?

I just bought a mk 7.5 manual. It takes a minute to get used to the synchros, but it’s very rewarding.

Generic map, one map fits all, not all cars are the same, most ecu are now locked so cannot use obd port. If you had a DSG box it seems a contradictory way of re mapping, you remap the ecu engine tune, then re tune the ecu again for the gearbox, which would alter the remapped engine file to protect the dsg.

When do you buy the tune is it after the cord?

Take this video off. Yo it works . That light was just showing that the wheels are spinning. Regardless esc on or off If you spin you will get that flash. Some bad videos on KZbin giving you wrong answers.
