Where’d you get the engine?

From someone who bought a rolled car at auction. The engine was low miles and in great shape. Can’t say the same for the rest of the car though.

Hey i need help eith my mazda engine i just replaced

The wiring harness that goes across the front, there's a gray plug on the right side of the front near where the front sensors are on the harness. I can't find where it plugs into! HELP! The piece of harness that this plug is on is about 5 inches long and clips to the front support so I'm not sure what is supposed to go there.

An injector maybe, cps what side of the engine passenger or driver ?

@@misteret5441 it's just to the right of the hood latch when facing the car, on the harness that runs behind the front core support. The plug is gray and it is on a short line coming out of the harness. There is nothing around I can see to plug it. Maybe a crash sensor that was removed before I got the car?

Hey I might need to swap am engine in my MazdaSpeed3? I haven’t done a replaced a engine but you think a novice diyer can do it?

If you have good experience working on cars and are meticulous at identifying what goes where then likely yes but I would strongly recommend doing it with someone who has experience as a sidekick and having a service manual with you to refer to as you can get lost pretty easily. I’ve done about 70 swaps over the years but the first one was quite something !

It’s all apart, the head is sold, I’ve thrown away much of the rotating assembly and pretty much have the crank and vented block left.
